After all recommendations, I interviewed 4 companies, as my vision for cabinet refacing was something different than I had seen anywhere and I needed someone who was willing to work with a new kind of design. In every aspect of designing and pricing this project, Kitchen Magician was “head and tails” above and beyond all of the others. Then, on the job, Russ and Gary stayed with me the whole way until every aspect of this relatively new—2 tone—concept was done to perfection-- right down to precise ¾” spacing between all cabinet doors, so that the darker tone would show through. In addition, he made suggestions along the way to make my cabinet spaces more practical and efficient. He was very patient while we went over all the choices and helped me make decisions, then came back and worked with both my husband and me to make final choices. He convinced me to replace most of my lower cabinets with drawers. I was reluctant at first but now I realize he was absolutely right - it has increased my storage space and made my kitchen so much more functional. There were no upsells or hard sells. The price for the quality you get is very reasonable. The installation was meticulous - Gary (the installer) is a true craftsman.
