**★★★★★ — Thomas Rivas, July 2019**

> My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with Mr. Jackson during the construction of our custom home in 2012. From choosing the right blueprints to picking out the finishing details, Mr. Jackson and his team were efficient and thorough. We loved the craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail of our home and were so sad to move out of state and from this beautiful home. When we finally moved back to Charleston, we knew exactly who we wanted to build our future dream home. We worked with Ryan over the last six months to perfect this dream home on paper and are now in the middle of having Jackson Construction build it. We could not ask for a better builder and company to work with and know that this home will be even better than the first. I've said it before and I will say it again, I will always work with Ryan Jackson and Jackson Construction for any home improvement or custom building projects.

> Working with Jackson Construction was great. From start to finish Ryan and his crew were very responsive to our questions and concerns and always did everything in their power to satisfy our requests. Johnny Harleson was the project manager for our build. He was an absolute delight to work with. He was always helpful and punctual when it came to making important decisions throughout the process. Megan, in the office, always made sure we were up to date on upcoming deadlines as well as selections that needed to be made.
> Overall, I would absolutely recommend Jackson construction to anyone looking to build their dream home.!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Is the pattern on this chair too loud?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Thoughts on the pattern on this chair? To go in a living room with a gray sectional.

A: There is nothing wrong with using colors or patterns, but I am not a fan of this chair. You can find something much better!

**Q: Picture too small?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is photoshop'd and please ignore the wall color. It's 36" square. Too small? Ceiling is 10' tall.
Do I need a rectangular print you think?

This one is another contender at 48x36...

A: I agree, you need something taller and wider to fill the area. Its a nice picture but not for that space.

**Q: Kitchen paint color.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

The cabinets are more of a tan khaki than a cream, but are ok. I cannot afford to paint them if I don't have to. The wall color has to go! I can't decide between a soft green or a gray. It has the south facing patio door for sunlight. The adjoining dining room will be "agreeable Gray". The living room beyond that & down some steps will be part a.g. & part valspars proud peacock. I was leaning to an earthy green for the kit. but now I'm wondering if i should play it safe with a gray in there as well ? Which one would go best with the cabinets ? I will be replacing the hardware with oil rubbed bronze. Our style is modern farmhouse i think.

A: I would go with green, I think gray will make the room looked washed out with the light color of the cabinets and the counter. Why be safe when you can be bold!

**Q: An updated fireplace and wall unit** *(in Before & After)*

A: Wow! This completely changes the look of the entire space. Nice work!

**Q: My new coastal kitchen** *(in Before & After)*

AFTER AND BEFORE: I am so pleased with my new kitchen. We replaced the french door in the kitchen with a window and removed the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room. The dining room has a sliding glass door with access to the patio.

A: Absolutely beautiful remodel.
