Absolutely avoid Greenleaf Design Build, Jon or Jen Carroll. They told me a price for the project. I thought it was good. Next thing I know the contract showed a 20% markup that was NEVER mentioned before. The bill jumped over $70,000! Talk about bait and switch! > > This was followed by Jon Carroll using a different unsigned contract. Jen Carroll did nothing to make any of these problems better. > > Add in that I requested additional pricing on infrastructure several times for many months in order to make a decision, yes or no. Next thing I know, it is installed, a permit pulled without my permission, and I am being charged over $5k, plus a bill from the city for the permit. Where did it come from** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I believe it is a kichler articulating sconce. The client bought it directly from the supplier so I'm not 100% sure. Luv it. A: Hi, Sorry about the late response but I saw your question come up recently. This heater was designed and built by our local masonry heater builder. Max at Firespeaking. He's great and I love his product. You can reach him at firespeaking.com **Q: what is the floor?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It's white oak, sanded and 3 coats of bioshield hard oil. This low-VOC, low-odor hard oil creates a deeply penetrating finish that is hard to beat for most wood surfaces. We caution our clients if they choose an oil for their floor finish because it is not as durable as a polyurethane. But, we love the richness it produces and for the right client it's the best choice. **Q: Great Project !!!! Looks like a SIP roof !!!** *(in Photo Questions)* Is this your design ? A: It is similar to a sip roof. We put 8" of polyisocynurate insulation on top of what you see in the picture (2X6 T&G). Then took 2X4's every 24" and screwed them down, through the insulation, and into the T&G. The design was from the home owner.
