This has been, without question, one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a contractor. > > The communication and customer service were extremely disappointing from start to finish. Before installation, I specifically asked whether the cabinet backing needed to be installed beforehand and was assured that it did not and could be completed afterward. However, within 24 hours of the countertop installation, the countertops began falling apart. When I brought this issue to their attention, rather than taking responsibility for the installation, I was blamed for not providing “additional support,” a requirement that had never been communicated to me. Even their own installers acknowledged that the cabinets had been installed nearly perfectly, yet once the countertops began failing, the responsibility was suddenly shifted to the cabinets. > > When I called to address my concerns, I spoke directly with the owner, Partha. I explained my dissatisfaction with the installation and the lack of communication regarding the necessary preparations beforehand. Instead of acknowledging the issue or attempting to resolve the situation professionally, he accused me of being rude to his employee and proceeded to use vulgar and inappropriate language during our phone conversation. I clarified that my comments to his employee were specifically related to the poor quality of the countertop installation. Rather than addressing the company’s mistakes or offering an apology, he chose to argue with me and speak disrespectfully to me as a customer. > > The entire experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service. I would not do business with Natural Stone Countertops again, and I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing countertops from this company to look elsewhere. **★★ — mdfhsv, April 2019** > At the start of our project (kitchen/bath counter tops and backsplash) we were pleased working with this company. We did everything asked of us as we were not familiar with granite. > > On the day they came to measure for cutting they asked us to have our new faucets available. We did. Upon installation, the faucets set too close to the backplash causing you to bump your hand on the granite each time using the sink. > > I went to the owner and explained all the above. She didn't seem too care. I reported the incident with the BBB and the owner still didn't seem to care. All we asked was she purchase new faucets (3) for the bathrooms to fix a problem they caused by cutting the granite wrong. We eventually had to settle with her paying us $100 towards new faucets. We could not be happier with our experience with them. Deanna, the sales associate, who assisted us was great. She was very knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. Their quote was very competitive and and when we reached our agreement we were very impressed with how quickly they got our project completed. Out one day to do the precision measurements, two days later they installed our countertops. They were exactly what we had envisioned. The installers took great care to do a quality job, protect our floors and walls and fully cleaned up after themselves.
