> Poor communication, rude service after calling to discuss concerns AFTER installation from office worker. Installers were polite. Would be great to keep in mind customer's don't install countertops everyday so when customer reps fail to mention what they don't do and its not written in the signed paperwork, there is no need to be dismissive, combative and rude when called out that something might of been missed during installation. Next steps should not be to tell someone who has paid thousands of dollars to look on YouTube, or to be thankful we left you the piece needed because we didnt have to. That is beyond poor service for something that seemed and was a simple fix and could have been addressed over the initial phone call, but the rep chose to be abrupt and say there is nothing we can do. I wasn't even told a piece was provided and this is what it was for after the installation debrief. Again I'm not a professional countertop installer so how would I know. If I could return countertops I would as it does not feel good to give your hard earned cash to a company like this. I didn't pick this place as it was a hire out from a big box store. Overall not happy

**Comment from Precision Countertops:**

> Jessica,
> I am Sorry you had a bad experience with your project and I can understand your concerns. I do hope you are enjoying your new countertops!

> Giving Precision Countertops two stars.
> One for the great color/pattern of the soapstone and the second for friendly staff and a fairly efficient process. Sadly, cracks appeared the day after installation and then spread ... exactly along cut lines where the slabs had been cut for reinforcement rods to be placed on the underside. I sent customer service these photos 2 days after install. Long story short, 2 techs came out to look at it, first one reported the issue issue resolved (after coloring the cracks with a black Sharpie). Second one said yep that's cracks...my fingernail shouldn't stick in them like...cuts where reinforcement rods were placed look too deep. Conclusion? It was escalated to management, who said "the Dal Tile warranty doesn't cover it so they won't replace. The issue is customer expectations are too high". I admit when I paid money for new stone countertops I did not expect them to crack all along the manufacturers pre-scored reinforcement lines within a couple days. The stars off because management doesn't really care if each customer has a good outcome - just the law of averages.

> Terrible, slow, expensive bureaucratic company. They didn't tell me they'd charge an extra $200 just to reschedule the measure.

> Please do yourself a favor and find another business to work with. After being extremely unaccomodating and insisting that we have all cabinets installed prior to templating, Precision installers ruined our new cabinets. They tried to cram in a backsplash that wasn't measure right and scraped and ruined brand new cabinets! Additionally, measurements were off and they had to hand cut on site which was done with terrible quality. We have gaps evident all around our very large quartz backsplash which we spent a lot on to end up with a terrible quality indtall. 2 weeks later, no responses and no desire whatsoever to resolve this. Do not do business with Precision. Please go elsewhere

> This company damaged my drywall above the backsplash and stained my driveway with grout and refuse to fix anything. Stay away.

> Run away from this company! Customer service nightmare!!!! This is without a doubt the worst company that I have ever worked with bar none. Summary of my experience is as follows:
>
> Countertops were templated on July 20th.
> Final installation was September 13th.
> 56 days from templating to final install. This doesn't even count waiting in the que for my template date to be set!
>
> The nearly two month wait for install doesn't even begin to describe my frustration with this company.
>
> 1.) After templating my order on July 20th, I was told to expect a 2-3 week until install. I called Precision (Brittany Rowe Project Leader) 3 weeks after templating and was told that my order had been misplaced and was yet to be cut! I called back the next day asking for an update and was told the same thing. They still had not entered my order.
> 2.) I finally got an install date of September 2nd. When they attempted to install, they had incorrectly cut/templated my order! The counter tops were too short. The installers we kind and told me that they would be sure to fix it ASAP. I did not receive a follow-up call or any sort of apology from precision that day. I had to call the next day and talk to Brittany who told me that she would need to push the install out another month or so because they were already booked with other installs and cutting appointments. They literally made no exceptions about fixing my order and sent me to the back of the line.
> 3\. After many aggravating phone calls with Brittany, I was finally bumped up to an install date of September 13th.
>
> \*the guys who installed and templated were nice to work with. This was the only bright spot about this otherwise terrible company.

**Comment from Precision Countertops:**

> Hi Bryan, I apologize for your less than positive experience, as it is not what we strive for with each install. I can understand your frustrations. I will look into this further and see if I can get this addressed with our Customer Service Manager. I do hope you can enjoy your beautiful new countertops for many years to come.

> Poor attention to detail. Poor customer service after they get your money. No return calls. Overcharge extras. Installers were gruff and unfriendly. I’d recommend you go elsewhere.

**★ — Jason B, June 2020**

> Purchased Countertops and vanity tops at Home Depot July 2019 for installation in September 2019. Received voicemail from Precision Countertops in September that They needed more $ or they cannot install. Went to home depot to try find out what happened and why I am being charged more, they said the contractor remeasured and I need to pay more, I refused sine I had measured the countertops, my GC measured, Home Depot Measured, and another countertop installer had measured, in summary all had the same measurement and drawings, they had no explanation but said if I didn't they would not install. I paid recluctanly since it seems they would not make the install date of September 29, 2019. Next they said it was delayed for a month, terrible but no recourse so I waited. They then pushed back install to November then December until 19th of December... So after being three months late they installed in December 2019 but the countertops didn't look right. My GC was there and the intstaller asked me if I
> knew they had an additional seam and one in a bad place and the stone was different on the other side of the seam. My wife and I viewed the countertops after the install and were shocked that it was not what we ordered and the stone was not uniform and the seam was in a dangerous place and according to my GC and the company installing (not precision not home depot but another third party) stated it may crack at the seam due to poor placement if we put anything heavy on that area,. I was furious and spoke with Precision in Washington but the girl I was talking to was removed from the case and a new PM named brady told me they would refund my money so I can get a local contractor to replace it. Home depot got involved and I asked them for a refund and to cover any additonal costs with a new contractor. I spoke with many different people and finally got no resolution. I emailed executives at Home depot but they pushed me off to thier Admin Assistant who just stalled me and finally sent me a letter April 07 stating they cannot give me a refund. The manager at the store I paid for the countertops wanted to visit the house and I offered to have someone meet him there but he will have to pay for thier time since I was not in the area, he never replied to my emails or calls, and they secretary of the Executives sent me a letter stating I was not available for a site visit which is incorrect. So its been over 11 months and they refuse to give me a refund. I've sent over 40 emails and called many different people but there is no accountability and there are 3 different parties involved in this travesty, Precision(the ones who fraudulently upcharged me and installed 3 months late), Home depot the company I paid and have been in contact with and the local installer who made me aware of the danger of the seam and actually told me to contact Home depot or Precision to try to figure out why they did that. I just want a refund for countertops and I’ll deal with the replacement. I have incurred alot of costs having to pay my GC to meet and help the local installer since Precision did not make the schedule I had to get someone to the property to meet them and work with them.

**★★★★★ — John Maffitt, March 2020**

> Everything was positive about my experience. They gave me a schedule, including a time window when they would be on site, and they met the schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

**★★★★★ — Tammy Cresap, March 2020**

> I love the work that Precision Countertops did for us. It is absolutely beautiful. Every person we worked with was kind, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company.

**★★★★★ — Mia Brattain-Halcomb, Jan. 2020**

> Very happy with my new countertops and the whole installation process. Appointment was scheduled quickly, installation took under two hours and everything went smoothly. Employees of Precision were super friendly and helpful.

**★★★★★ — Kathryn Maron, Dec. 2019**

> Amazing company and amazing quality of granite and choices. We chose Calacutta Gold and will be eternally happy with this color and choice! We used precision last year for a kitchen remodel and this year for bathrooms. We had an incredible experience and the showroom team, customer service team, and install teams were all highly professional and wonderful to work with!
