I came across Mr. Harris and contacted him to discuss the scope of the project and see if he was interested. It was not a huge project but he said he would gladly meet with us. We discussed that the wood exterior of the house was rotting and we wanted to update to a prairie style look and add a more covered porch to the front entranceway to give us more cover from rain and wind. After our meeting we agreed for him to come up with some designs. He said it would only take about a week to get drawings to us. After about two I called and he said he would have in a few days. He did finally call and we arranged to meet and go over the designs. We reviewed the drawings and told him what we liked and didn’t like. We agreed for him to make the changes, he said it would only take a few days which of course turned into a weeks. After we met and paid him for the drawings I told him we would get back to him within two weeks, which we did to let him know if we wanted to proceed. I did get back and told him we would like to proceed. He said he would send someone over to take more precise measurements. Someone did finally come over and from what I saw did not really take accurate measurements. I asked him a few questions and he said Mr. Harris would go over with me. We waited weeks to hear from him and never did so I called and he said he would have something in a few days. A few more weeks went by and I called again and he informed me that the person working on the project left the company and would have something for me soon. After a few more weeks I call again and he told me someone was seriously ill in the office and would get back to me by the next day, which he didn’t. So I called to ask why he was not getting back to us, was he not interested in doing the project, off which he said he was and could have something soon. I asked for a refund on the drawings due to the fact he could not come through for us and I would have to pay another architect. He said the service he provided had value and would not refund. This process started in March and the last contact requesting the refund was on September 25, 2014. I would consider Mr. Harris very unprofessional, if he didn’t want to do the project or had delays all he had to do is pick up the phone and call us. **★★★★★ — PrestigeCore LLC.
