**Q: Best cabinet color for open concept kitchen w kids** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are remodeling the main area of our house and making it open concept.   we have 3 kids and a giant dog  we would consider white cabinets but in our old house we saw how they showed wear and tear very quickly.  Anyone in a similar situation and is pleased with the color of cabinets they chose?

**Q: Kitchen hardware - how much should I spend?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm redoing my kitchen and looking at a few different proposals from contractors. I'm trying to compare costs, and was most surprised by the cost of hardware. Generally, what % of my total budget should I expect to spend on hardware if I want something high-quality?

A: Go to top knobs website. They have a large selection and I am sure you will find something that you like for the right price.

**Q: Kitcehn Cabinet "Entertinment zone" -keep same as cabinets?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

The kitchen will be all white cabinets. Entertainment zone to the right of the table. Sorry I forgot to rotate picture!
Idea\#1. Everything white, navy island-both with a quartz counter top tbd,, entertainment zone white with wood top & glass cabinets on top that will have navy behind  them.  
Idea \#2 White cabinets around perimeter of kichen. Kitchen island & entertainment zone sometype of wood. possibly striad wood-soft gray or soft walnut. Floors are medium , warm rustic brown.

A: I like \#1, the blue will accent the white in the entertainment zone as well as the island in the kitchen. I think it will give a nice flow.

**Q: I want to change the look of these light oak cabinets not with paint.** *(in Before & After)*

A: You could change the hardware to an Oil Rubbed Bronze to accent the counter top.
How about handles instead of knobs?

I'm looking to paint our cabinets either a white or off white and have no idea what color to choose to match the counter tops as well as flooring. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
