A: It is thick slabs of natural stone, not a thin tile product. I do not have the exact spec for it, because it was custom ordered just for this project. **Q: hi, i was wondering what type of stone was used on the lower level?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Actually, it's not stone. It is board formed, cast-in-place concrete. We think that carefully formed concrete is one of the best looking foundations when it sits proud of the wall above (sticks out farther than the wall above). **Q: Gorgeous! What, may I ask, is the wall treatment?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It's a special type of plaster called Venetian plaster. It is burnished to a very smooth and hard finish. The color is integrated into the plaster so no paint is used. **Q: Can you please share what material the ceiling is made from? If it is** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It's actually a wood ceiling.
