> Felix and Adriana Ziga were absolutely wonderful to work with.  It was my first time doing a remodel/renovation and it was a historic, 1935 cottage in a historic district --- and my childhood home.  Felix had to do some redesigning of a difficult floor plan --- and he did a wonderful job!  The Ziga's knew all of the in's and out's of how to get things done with the city's Office of Historic Preservation.  They made things that might have been otherwise daunting very easy for me.  They were always very accessible and took the time to go over things with me thoroughly and were very kind to me as a "newbie" to the remodeling/renovation field.  Felix walked me through the selection of a contractor --- I went through 5 interviews before settling on the right one.  Adriana as the designer did a fantastic job helping me with my vision on the interior and I got just what I wanted.  I would choose them again and again and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an architect, interior design, or both -- they're a great team.

> We set out to expand our home to accommodate an aging parent moving in with us. The project included adding a full kitchen, full bath, and adding an upstairs bedroom and full bath. Felix was an amazing help! From the very beginning, he listened deeply to what was important to us and he collaborated with both us and our builder to problem solve both in the design phase and in the construction itself. This project added more than 1,000 sq. ft. to our home and you would never know it was an addition. Felix's design makes it all look like it was designed this way from the beginning. He was also a huge help in working with the city to get a variance for our build. There were times in the project when we (the homeowners) were making ignorant decisions about things we thought we wanted and Felix was always very gentle with his counsel in a different direction and then happy to let us make the final decision. There is always a question, with every renovation, about whether it really is necessary to incur the cost of an architect...our work with Ziga Architecture was worth every penny AND SO MUCH MORE. A: Unfortunately, we don't have this information. On this project we provided architectural services only. Furnishings were provided by the owner.
