The age is important because that meant that they had to tear out popcorn plaster, wood slat, ceilings, which they replaced with sheetrock. They did an Excellent job. The first day they taped plastic over our walls from floor to ceiling, and covered every inch of flooring with paper, which significantly cut down on the expected dust from this project to an almost non-existent level. They installed can lights, reinstalled our existing lights, and put together and installed a ceiling fan. The work area was left clean at the end of every workday. The new ceilings look great, and all of the antique wood trim was left in place, with no damage.
