BEST OF HOUZZ 2016-2017 - Hi, my name is Ryan Carr and I'm an architectural & interiors photographer serving all of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.

I'm the oldest of four siblings and have lived in Southern California my whole life. I have decades of experience with photography and video. I spent years working in the commercial and film industry - both on set as well in post production. My love of photography and video started at a young age and even led me to directing several music videos in the past.

My clients love my attention to detail and emphasis on delivering the best possible images for every space I photograph.

> Ryan did an amazing job! Ryan came on short notice and was able to take some amazing pictures in a short time. Didn't have to wait long to get my finale edits. Thanks again Ryan looking forward to working with you on more projects.

**★★★★★ — Garrison Collection, Aug. 2017**

> Working with Ryan has been a dream come true! If you need to hire a professional photographer in the Los Angeles area, look no further! Ryan is professional, reliable and creative. Our team is so happy that we were able to find him through Houzz. Thanks again for everything Ryan!!

> I contacted Ryan last minute for a real estate photography shoot for a new listing in Valencia. He promptly provided me with a quote and he was available to go the next day to take the photos. We were very impressed with Ryan's photography skills, he has great angles and took a variety of shots. We will definitely be calling Ryan in the future. Thanks again Ryan!

**★★★★★ — Jeffrey Rothstein, Nov. 2016**

> Ryan was referred to my by another photographer in the business since my job was apparently a bit more technical. Ryan had the chops. Communications was easy, text and talk. The shoot was smooth, fluid, and creative. Up to date technology. He's no primadonna, no drama. When I put obstacles in his way he would just pivot and never became frustrated or lost focus. (You know what I mean.) Quick turn around on final product with edits. I would be happy to recommend him to all others. Thanks Ryan.

> Ryan is great to work with, we've used his services on a few properties now, and will continue. He was early, honest, gave me options for different framing and why that frame would or wouldn't work. His prices compared to services we've used in the past are very competitive. He also had our photos same day which makes a huge difference when we're in a rush to list.

> Fantastic work and fast delivery. Your eye for detail and taking your time really made a difference in the home listing photos. I look forward to working with you again.

> I called Ryan on a Saturday afternoon and he responded promptly. He was available to work within my short time frame, and he turned the photographs around to me the same day. The pictures were beautiful - well lit and showed my property at its best! Thanks Ryan, I'll definitely be calling you again!

> Ryan definitely delivers, and he is a great photographer to work with!!! I am a real estate agent from Pacific Union International, a San Francisco/Silicon Valley based company. I was in need of a photographer for a listing in southern California. I heard many great things about his work from other agents and stagers. They also raved about his professionalism and how great it is to work with him. So I highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking to get photography done on real estate properties. He's very professional, prompt, and very skilled in his area of expertise. He's photographed many properties and provides amazing results. Ryan gets the job done! Contact him for details!

**Comment from Legacy Listing Photography:**

> Started working with Ryan this week and he has already impressed me enough with his work that I'm trying to hire him for a couple more projects. Friendly, professional, and the work speaks for itself. Looking forward to working with you some more.

> Ryan is a very skilled and professional photographer. He was highly recommended by one of my colleagues. He came out to take pictures of my listing and did an excellent job. He is very responsive and quick to deliver too. I highly recommend him.

**Comment from Legacy Listing Photography:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words, Judy! I really appreciate you taking the time to review me!

> So incredibly worth it!! Please DON'T consider using your own photos to sell your house. I hired Ryan to take pictures of my dad's house we are selling by owner. Approx. 2400 square feet. I knew I needed great photos to post online to attract buyers. He took pictures from very effective angles- ones I would never have seen, capturing the best features. He added wonderful details, like jet trails in the sky, or palm tree shadows across the pool to denote relaxation, or lighting some paper quickly on fire to have flames in the fireplace. When my children saw their grandfather's house, they asked, "It looks too good- won't people get there and see it in person and be disappointed?" But the important thing is to get the people to come see it! Besides being infinitely talented, he was patient, professional, not prima donna at all! He answered my texts almost immediately, showed up exactly on time, was clean and neat. I was so anxious, I followed him around, and asked him what I should move, what to look best, whether he avoided the tears in the curtains, etc. Which he already had done, Had all kinds of equipment that made the lighting super and the pictures are really crisp and expansive. The house looks like 5000 square feet! He spent lots of time doing it. Well worth the price because these pictures are going to sell the house! A house right behind ours is for sale by owner, and they used their own camera to post pictures online, and the difference is so stark, I feel sorry for the other house! But glad ours will sell before theirs!

> Ryan came to my listings to take the photos for me and make a video. He checked the sunset time before setting the appointment so that he could get the best lighting. He wasn't in and out like some photographers. He took the time to make sure everything was just right. He is always the first person I go to for my photos and videos. He is the best.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Beautiful Tile Wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me about the tile wall? Type?, Maker?

A: My client for this job was Concept Renovations. They would be the one’s to ask.

**Q: Sliding barn doors?** *(in Polls)*

What do you think of the sliding barn door trend?
Cozy, rustic chic? Or should be left in the farmhouse?

Would you be willing to try this trend in your house?

A: They worked great in this house!

**Q: New living room.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello, where can I locate rug & armless chairs.

A: I wish I could tell you, but I was the photographer not the owner of the furniture.

**Q: Wall Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

May I ask what color are the walls?

A: I'm really sorry, but I don't know the exact color they used. It appeared to be a very pale blue, but I'm not 100% sure. In the next photo in the set that showcases the fireplace you can see it clearer.
