The entire team of designers was excellent -- listening to what we wanted, providing a variety of alternatives using their great eyes for design and knowledge of what works, implementing and supervising the project from beginning to end. The designers also were attentive to avoiding "project creep" -- they were not interested in just making this project bigger-and-bigger, but doing a great kitchen that fit well with the adjacent rooms. BSD also brought in incredible craftsmen. We heard from the contractor we selected that the plans created by BSD were always far-and-away more thorough and accurate than those they were handed in most of their projects (which, of course, makes it much easier to bring in a project on time and within the budget). Everyone was excellent in dealing with "surprises," of which there were a number in this renovation (in a century-old building that had been modified repeatedly, and in which multiple code violations were discovered). BSD also was great when it came to the inevitable "punch list" -- taking responsibility for getting things done just right.
