First and foremost, her eye for design is incredible. She can visualize things in a way that really makes each room come together, and she has a fantastic ability to leverage own expertise to bring out the best in what the client wants. She came to help us design several rooms in our house. She took her time to walk through each room, ask us what we had in mind, what we liked and didn't like, and then started off with a few suggestions. One of her first suggestions was to paint our dining room a dark blue. I admit I was hesistant at first, but holy cow, it made our entire first floor pop, and we absolutely love it. Once she knew we liked color she continued to suggest ideas to give our house some personality, while still keeping the aesthetic of our 1920s home. In addition to helping us pick paint color, artwork and furniture for several rooms, she also helped us design our library, which we created from scratch in what was originally a sunroom. Our library now has gorgeous built in shelves and a large window seat, as well as a hanging chair and sliding ladder! It is our favorite room in the house and we get compliments on it all the time. Not only Canee's design amazing, but worked completely with our budget, which was important! It was also generally wonderful working with her, as she was responsive, thoughtful, and really went above and beyond to help us get our house into beautiful shape.
