### Reviews

**★★★★★ — HU-474113166, Feb. 2025**

> We had the pleasure of working with Inna from Egoist Design on multiple projects, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our first collaboration was for a condo design, where Inna guided us through everything from color choices to furniture selection and art. A year later, we turned to her again to design our new medical clinic space. She helped us create a functional and aesthetically pleasing environment, ensuring the right colors, furniture, and overall clinic flow. Inna’s expertise, attention to detail, and ability to bring a vision to life make her an outstanding designer. We highly recommend her for any design and consultations!

**★★★★★ — Anna Kh, Jan. 2025**

> Working with Inna to renovate our basement and some main floor rooms was a great experience and the end result exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend anyone looking for a standout and unique design as Inna carefully considers every detail and manages the project with contractors and vendors end-to-end, which simplifies and expedites the process.
>
> In addition to leading design, Inna supported us with shopping for furniture and other items as part of the renovation. This accommodated our taste, fit our budget, and perfectly matched the design. Renovating is never easy, but with Inna’s dedication and expertise, it was a truly creative and exciting journey.
>
> We love how our home turned out thanks to her and all our visitors have been impressed. Inna has impeccable taste, which she masterfully combines with a high level of professionalism.

**★★★★★ — Maria Sheremet, May 2024**

> Liked to work with Inna! Hesitated to follow her advise first and extremely happy that I did because the result is outstanding.

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you kindly for your feedback! Always a pleasure, Maria!

**★★★★★ — Paint Mastery, Jan. 2024**

> We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Inna on a residential painting project. Her expertise in interior design profoundly enhanced the outcome of our work. Inna's keen eye for detail, combined with her innovative approach, brought a unique flair to the project that was both elegant and contemporary.
>
> What stood out most was Inna's ability to listen to our needs and translate them into a design that exceeded our expectations. Her professionalism, punctuality, and dedication to client satisfaction were evident throughout our collaboration. The final result was nothing short of stunning, significantly elevating the aesthetic appeal of the space.
>
> I highly recommend Inna to anyone seeking a designer who can truly transform a space with creativity, efficiency, and a deep understanding of client needs. Her work is not just about design; it's about creating an ambiance that reflects and enhances the way we live.

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you for your generous feedback. I am very happy I could assist you with your project. Always happy to collaborate!

**★★★★★ — Maria Ermakov, Sept. 2023**

> Working with our interior designer was, without a doubt, an amazing experience. We have engaged with Inna when we bought a new house that required a lot of renovations from flooring to the ceiling. Inna supported through the entire process, from renovation phase to the furnishing and decorating, including bathrooms, kitchen replacements etc. She has translated our vision/wishes into a reality with her outstanding pieces of work.
>
> From our first meeting, her passion for her work was undeniable. She was not only interested in the details of our proposed house but also in understanding our tastes and lifestyle ( including finding a balance between what my husband and I liked as we can have very different thoughts and ideas).
>
> In the renovation phase, she demonstrated a deep understanding of architectural dynamics, renovation materials, sourcing efficiency liaising between the contractors and us which helps us tremendously and reduced our stress since we did not know much about renovation.
>
> After the renovation, Inna provided a lot of information and demonstrated a deep knowledge of space planning, furniture sourcing, lighting decisions, interesting and sometimes unique materials, textiles and color schemes - every decision she made was purposeful and added a unique aspect to our home.
>
> We really enjoyed our furniture shopping and I felt very comfortable with Inna as I felt she listened to our needs and wants and provided great options to pick from with different price range, product availability, styles and colours.
>
> Throughout the entire project, Inna build great relationship with us, always available to discuss concerns and address queries. Her dedication, creativity, and understanding not only of the design elements but also of understanding the client’s wishes are exceptional.
> Working with such a professional interior designer was indeed a true pleasure. Our home is not just visually stunning but also reflects our personalities and lifestyle, thanks to her expertise.
>
> If you're looking for someone to design your dream space, look no further. Every square foot of your space is in brilliant, capable hands. We really miss working with Inna.

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you for taking the time to write such generous and detailed review of our collaboration.
> Above all, thank you to your wonderful family for trusting me with the new home! I miss you, too!

> Working with Inna was a great experience! She combined my preferences with her expertise and experience to come up with a beautifully designed space, color, texture and furniture combination. I am extremely happy with the service provided by the talented Inna and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to renovate or simply uplift the current "mood" of the inner space. Thank you Inna; looking forward to working with you in the near future!

**★★★★★ — HU-122000467, July 2020**

> INNA is an exceptional and talented designer. She took the time to understand my needs and worked with me to create really beautiful work. I’m very happy with my overall experience. I highly recommend her services and will be coming back for my future projects.

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you so very much! Looking forward to working together in the future!

**★★★★★ — Kat Vaih, July 2020**

> Finally, it's my time to give praise to Inna and express my admiration for her talent. I've known Inna for some time now.
> This isn't the first time she transformed my place of residence to warm, intimate, with a sense of my personality home.
>
> Our family lives in quite an ordinary apartment building in the heart of Midtown Toronto. I know, many think there isn't much to be done with such places as you are bound by management regulations. Therefore, not many consider furnishing let alone hiring an interior designer and investing in such a place, waiting for the next step in life.
>
> However, if you hire Inna, she will show you how to make your place yours, forever how long you are staying there. You'll have a variety and mood boards to explore, furniture pieces personally picked. You'll get lists and links of all thats on the mood board directing straight to the source, you'll have a selection of accessories and ideas that won't leave you unimpressed.
>
> We love you Inna :) ThankU

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you, dear Kat! I loved working on your place and the colour bravery you embrace is very inspiring. Till next time!

**★★★★★ — Alexander Shetinin, June 2020**

> Egoist Design did an excellent job! A very effective layout solution was suggested and accepted.
> The furniture and the component specs developed were optimal for space.
> I would highly recommend and will use the services again.

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you, Alexander! It was my pleasure! Looking forward to future collaborations!

> We worked with Inna Malyarov on many occasions in the past and always were happy with a result, so this tome when it was time for a big project in our house I knew from the very beginning I want to work only with Inna from Egoist Design. She is very professional and patient (and Im not an easy client!) always listens and provides the best result you could possibly imagine! We renovated our big kitchen/living room, master bathroom and guest bathroom with her and I cant even say which area is my favorite now, everything turned out just perfect and more! During kitchen renovation we ran into some big issues with our kitchen countertops (countertops company fault) and Inna handled all the issues in the best possible way taking all the weight of communicating with them off our shoulders. Huge thank you for that! So, few months later we have absolutely stunning new kitchen/living room and bathrooms, everyone in my family is very happy with the end result. I can tell hiring Inna Malyarov for this project was best decision our family ever made. We would recommend her to anyone!

**Comment from Egoist Design:**

> Thank you kindly, Alena and Family! It was not without a challenge - yes, but we made it and your patience is so much appreciated and valued. Enjoy your cozy home and I look forward to our post-covid portfolio shoot!

**★★★★★ — Nadya BD, Dec. 2019**

We thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to work with an interior designer.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Tile Backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

Fantastic kitchen design! I love the backsplash tile. Would you please share the make and color?

A: Thank you! This was from Rivalda tile in Vaughan. I would not remember the exact name, unfortunately. Could be Italian, but not sure one hundred percent at this point. Sorry.

**Q: Are china cabinets totally yesterday now?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My husband does not like this piece I got from a family member. He did not grow up in houses with lit cabinets displaying china, but I am from the South (he is not), and everyone I know had one. So is this piece really "old-lady" looking? Or is my husband off base? He is not super design savvy and lets me do our homes, but I want to respect his opinion. Give me the truth, please!

A: China cabinets are so in and I love them! The idea is to balance is off with the more contemporary pieces. I would replace the chairs, change wall color (to make the cabinet stand out) and update the area rug. I absolutely adore your china cabinet. You just need a little work with the rest of the room to make it a center piece. I would!

**Q: Couch question** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where is the couch from? What are the dimensions?

A: This is from Crate and Barrel. I am not sure of the dimensions any more. It had to be 5+ feet. Not very big.

**Q: Decor ideas for this wooden space above sofa** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello i have this wooden space to decorate..i am confused about the color scheme i should have here.the room is grey and red colred and furniture is black.please help with decor ideas and decor color scheme.

A: I suggest you paint the whole thing and replace the little shelves with the glass ones. It will make it look a bit more modern and not appear so heavy looking on the wall.

**Q: Cool faucet.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who makes this faucet?

A: I would have to double check for you. I believe it was Riobel, but I might be mistaken.

**Q: Is my boys' room done?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We just "finished" our 3 year old boys' room - new paint, carpet, bedding, etc. I'm SO bad at accessorizing as I'm pretty minimalist and I'm even worse at looking at my work objectively. I also think my amateur picture taking doesn't do the room justice. Do you think I'm "done" with this room for now? If not, any suggestions? The wall that you don't see is a closet that has a full-length growth-chart ruler next to it.

A: I would do matching table lamps, add art work to where the chest is and consider adding some wall shelves to balance the look. The "bottom" appears heavier than the walls due to carpeting, furniture and bright colors. The walls need a little more detail in this case, in my opinion. Otherwise, very cute. Love the names above the beds.
