> Melissa helped me revamp my outdoor garden with plant/flower selections. She was able to incorporate my existing plants into the new design and update the overall look of the garden with very little cost. It's been over 3 years since the planting, and I'm still pleased with the selections she's made. She was professional, creative, and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely book her for my next project.

> Melissa's perfect design for our garden helped us to sell our house quickly. I wish she had followed us to the Northeast so we could continue to use her services. She is a true professional who listens to her clients' wishes, works within a budget and gets the job done on time.

> We hired Melissa Gerstle Design to re-design our backyard and patio area. We added an outdoor fireplace as well. Melissa was great to work with -- she was creative, budget conscious, extremely thorough and responsive. We love the finished product and really enjoyed the process.

**★★★★★ — Ohlenburg Inc, Sept. 2014**

> I am currently part of a team that includes Melissa. This is a wonderful project that includes a great design and a great working relationship. We have been so happy to work with Melissa, she is so eager to excel at a high level. She has produced drawings that are far beyond a typical landscape designer, there is detail, creativity, and passion in everything that she does. We look forward to work with her in the future.

> Melissa development a total landscape plan for our mid-century home incorporating some of the existing planting with her new design that was more appropriate for the style of the house. It was a much needed update incorporating more drought friendly plantings into a very well thought out plan. We have an ongoing relationship on a seasonal basis with Melissa to keep the garden evolving and fresh. Melissa has just completed a very creative additional plan for our pool and patio area that we are excited about. She's very buttoned up in her work and follow up and, on top of everything - lot's of fun to work with!

**★★★★★ — Sandy Moore, Oct. 2013**

> Melissa Gerstle Design has done landscape planning, plant recommendation, and fall displays for us. Attached is a photo of our current fall display. She is creative, knowledgeable, timely, reasonable, and a pleasure to work with on a project. I will use her again.

> Melissa is a great Landscape Designer. She recommended me as the architect on a job she had, and it has been a pleasure working with her. The client is very happy with the collaboration too. She is very creative and brings a lot of ideas. I am very glad I got to work with her.

**★★★★★ — User, Oct. 2013**

> My name is John Marron and I am with Yellow Rose Landscape Services Inc. I have installed several projects that were designed by Melissa Gerstle. I have found her designs very compelling, functional and esthetically pleasing. Her use plant materials and various hardscapes makes each project unique.
>
> I have also witnessed the way Melissa interacts with her clients and her desire to have each project be professionally installed both in materials and workmanship. Melissa works very hard to have each project completed in a timely fashion and to see that her customer be informed on what to expect with each phase of the installation.

**★★★★★ — Jonika Nix, April 2013**

> I met Melissa after many rav reviews of her on a message board that I trust. I am very glad I contacted her because the entire process has been excellent! She listened to what I wanted and really came up with a plan that was exactly how I imagined, just better. She is always readily available and I can tell she loves what she does- which is very important to me. She has been a pleasure to work with and I will continue to use her and will refer her to anyone that asks for a landscape architect.

**★★★★ — Glasshouse, April 2013**

> We worked with Melissa on our commercial landscape. She provided several very creative options that incorporated our company's image and products. She was flexible and open during the process. She stayed on site to work with the landscape installers and even rolled out her Spanish when needed. The end result is beautiful!

  - Description: A small garden in University Park (Dallas) Texas was modernized with fun and bold sculptural forms, including a cloud pruned hedge and carved boxwoods throughout. The entry has a small, intimate shade garden and the driveway was re-poured and stained a french grey color and scored in a diagonal pattern with a banded edge to serve as a terrace/patio. It is now an extension of the space, used for entertaining during parties and a play space for kids. The garden is now an intimate, tiny jewel box f…

  - Description: This colonial home was lacking curb appeal. The entry beds were too narrow for the scale of the house and the plants were overgrown and did not match the formality and symmetry of the architecture. The homeowners wanted a colorful perennial garden that complemented the house, with a nod towards the Texas native landscape. We accomplished this through a garden entry that offered structure and symmetry. The entry stairs were flanked with new low, stone pedestals to house planting urns. And the new…
