It was a large project and the first home we built. the scope of Susan's role included review of architectural blueprints, custom cabinetry design and finishes, electrical layout and lighting fixtures; selection of tile and stone, woodwork, plumbing fixtures, appliances, interior and exterior paints etc., etc., and of course interior furnishings. The end result is a home where large spaces are transformed into warm and inviting spaces. Most of this we attribute to Susan's involvement in the overall home design as well as selection of all finishes and furnishings. Friends comment on how beautiful and coordinated our home is and note the furnishings and attention to detail which sets the home apart. Susan worked well with other contractors communicating regularly minimizing delays and preventing errors. Susan has a unique ability to incorporate multiple textures and blend colors combined with beautiful hardgoods to give the room a "wow" factor. She was patient and listened as my husband and I tried to define our taste and always offered us multiple options. When we had trouble envisioning how a room might look, Susan provided samples, drawings and conversation to give us confidence in our selections. We trusted her judgment and recommendations which was reassuring. We found Susan very knowledgeable, creative, extremely well organized. She kept us informed and always followed through.
