> I had been leery of attempting to redo the kitchen and am so glad I took the plunge. I met with a few companies to discuss what I wanted. Cabinet Designers was the best fit for me personally. From the first day when I stopped in unannounced and Mark introduced himself, to the day that Jesse and Heather came and looked at the space as it was, to the day I was presented with designs to choose from, I always felt respected and heard. I loved the fact that my many many emails of questions were always answered by Heather and that she worked with my style of I don't know what I want, but I know what I don't want. I loved that I did not have to go any further and look for contractors etc. Buck was always professional and did a great job. Overall I am ecstatic with the space as it is now. The redesign has made the house so much more open and welcoming. I have had to work from home since March and am truly grateful beyond words for how this has changed my home. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

> We've been clients of Cabinet Designers for almost 30 years, including a new-construction small rental house kitchen, a complete renovation of an old farmhouse kitchen, and the kitchen and dressing room in our new-built "dream house". Through these projects Cabinet Designers (the entire staff, really) has been creative, knowledgeable, reliable, skilled, a dream to work with, and their work competitively priced (or better). There're a ridiculous, almost embarrassing number of decisions that go into a kitchen design and installation. Cabinet Designers are terrific at guiding you through that maze. My wife and I highly recommend them.

> We renovated the bathrooms and a pantry closet in our home with Cabinet Designers. The experience was excellent from start to finish. From project design to execution we had a great team in Becki (designer), Jesse (owner) and Buck (carpenter). We recommend Cabinet Designers without reservation.
> What we valued the most: knowledge and experience, attention to detail, guidance through selection of materials while exposing us to new products and ideas, cleanliness during the project, quality of sub-contractors, never leaving our job until completed, follow-through on all matters even after job was completed, highest standard of workmanship.

> We had a great experience designing our basement bar with Becki! She helped us design a beautiful custom bar within our budget and did a fabulous job helping us with all the details - cabinet color, hardware, sink and faucet. She worked quickly and sent detailed drawings that help us feel confident about our selection. Our cabinets were delivered ahead of schedule and we could not be happier. We are thrilled with Becki and Cabinet Designers!!

> We had an amazing experience with Cabinet Designers from start to finish. They gave us very valuable advice during the design phase, helped us select fixtures and hardware, were very creative when we had to get costs down, and did a phenomenal job on the install. We highly recommend working with them!

> What a wonderful experience! All of the staff at Cabinet Designers were TOP NOTCH. Efficient, polite, expert, committed, responsible--I could go on. We redid our (LARGE) kitchen completely, and every stage was handled well, from design to demolition to execution. We LOVE THIS KITCHEN, and we couldn't have done it without the expertise and professionalism of Cabinet Designers. Special thanks to Jesse, Becki, and Colin!

**★★★★★ — Paul Steinberg, July 2018**

> Utterly thrilled with the work Cabinet Designers did for us! They took one huge bathroom and turn it into two - a dedicated master bath and a full guest bath. They also extended a hallway to improve the layout of the bathrooms and bedrooms. We had design and layout ideas going in, but Becki and Jesse came up with far better ideas that we never would have thought of and that ultimately made for a finished project that is more coherent, more comfortable to use and more fun to decorate.
>
> The new bathrooms and hallway are great, and elicit oohs and aahs from everyone. Each bath looks like it was always meant to be there just as it is—there is no skimping or compromising on space or anything else. Our guests have a beautiful room with some decorative features that make it feel special, and we have a spectacular room that came out exactly the way we described we wanted.
>
> The design process was really fun and Becki never lost energy, always came up with appealing suggestions, and kept the process moving. She also stayed on top of the construction phase so she could weigh in on decisions that had to be made then.
>
> The demo/construction phase went very smoothly. The whole team was easy to communicate and work with. Each worker was skilled, meticulous and consulted with us throughout, including when unexpected decisions had to be made, and week-to-week we could see how carefully and thoughtfully all the workers approached their jobs. The team also kept the house as clean as possible throughout, and all in all, we felt confident and comfortable that the work was being done at the highest level in every respect. We couldn’t be more pleased.
>
> And one last, and IMPORTANT, consideration — there is no exaggerating how seriously Cabinet Designers takes customer satisfaction. Throughout the project, we raised issues here and there, or proposed making changes (including to one fixture), and everyone at Cabinet Designers took us seriously, listened, and worked with us to come up with a satisfying approach—in some cases going way beyond our expectations. We cannot state too strongly how much we appreciate this, and how happy we are with the final result.

> We presented to one of the owners, Jesse Kelly, a fairly original idea of how we wanted our new kitchen to look and function. The collaboration produced a kitchen that exceeded all our expectations. Jesse's knowledge and esthetic sense is truly exceptional. We were so pleased that when it came time to address another level of our house we returned to Cabinet Designers. This time we worked with Becki Shultis who helped us design a master bedroom suite with a new master bathroom. Becki is a true artist who not only was able to create a highly functional design, but brought in many design elements that elevated the look and feel of the space to another level. Our new bedroom is really a "Wow"! We feel fortunate to have worked with Cabinet Designers and will use them again when it comes time for our next project.

> We have a wonderful old Dutch Colonial house with a quirky space for the kitchen. We wanted to upgrade the quality and finish of the entire space without destroying the authenticity of the house. Dale Allison worked with us and she truly seemed to enjoy the design process we put her through. We had some very specific requirements that other designers suggested were not achievable within our budget. Dale embraced them and guided us through the process with a good sense of humor. We got great quality cabinets, delivered on time for less than comparable cabinets from a big box store. We did our research and Cabinet Designers was definitely the best choice! Thanks Dale.

> We worked with Cabinet Designers 16 years ago. They did a great job with the layout and
> installation of our Custom Craft-Maid Kitchen Cabinets.
> Last year we built another new home and I worked with Dale on many of our design choices.
> They have a great showroom and she did a fantastic job designing the layout of another
> Custom Craft-Maid Kitchen for us. They are beautiful, well built, great functioning cabinets.
> We also purchased Homerwood flooring, tiles and vanities from their showroom, nice selection of quality products. All of their staff is pleasant, helpful and great to work with.

**★★★★★ — ginakapustin, June 2016**

> We had an excellent experience with Cabinet Designers. Becki and Jesse were incredibly responsive, helpful and fully understood what we were going for. We would work with them again in a heartbeat and highly recommended their services.

**★★★★★ — bklaproth, Nov. 2015**

> Completely renovated an existing main bathroom and updated my Victorian era kitchen by adding a custom made floor to ceiling cabinet and beautiful oak floor. The bathroom, that was painted in a color that I personally wouldn't have chosen, turned out even better than I had hoped for as did the whole project -- a curbless\\doorless long shower area, interesting tiles, moldling, lighting, and cabinets with appropriate hardware. The changes fit perfectly with the rest of my 1850 era restored home. Much thought was put into this project by the design person and general manager, and their contractors were very skilled and a pleasure to deal with.

**Comment from Cabinet Designers, Inc:**

> Thank you for your kind words Brenda! It was such a pleasure to work with you and so much fun to choose the details to integrate with your Victorian home and treasures. We are grateful for your business!

  - Description: Project: Bearsville, 2014 BEFORE: This home was a new construction, and the homeowners were looking for a very specific atmosphere for their kitchen and bathrooms. Overall, they were interesting in creating a light and airy feel, and a timeless and classic style. For the kitchen, they were looking for something that had an open concept and a rustic ambiance. They’d also expressed the desire to hide their kitchen appliances within the cabinetry, so that the cabinetry would be the focus of the roo…

## Community Q&A

**Q: where were the lights bought?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Sourcing lights for our bathroom now and really like these

A: These are by Sonneman - The Chelsea Series in Black - they look fantastic every single time!

**Q: can I get info on floors, pendant lights and bar stools please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

can I get info on floors, pendant lights and bar stools please?

A: Hi There! Floors were Kahrs Brand, Sonata Meno, but the lights & stools were customer supplied, so I don't have info on those. Best of Luck with your own project!

**Q: What colour are the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is it a standard colour from the manufacturer or a custom paint match?

A: Hi Kyle - This is a custom paint. The cabinet paint color is Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams (SW7069).

**Q: hi what color is the the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Cabinet color

A: Hi Kayla - The cabinet paint color is Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams (SW7069)

**Q: Does the shower water stay in the shower space?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Without a door at the end, does water flow out of the space? I love the accessibility but worry about a constantly wet floor.

A: Hi, Patricia! If you look at where the subway tile meets the floor on the left hand side of the shower, you'll notice that the shower floor is slightly pitched to allow the water to run into the linear drain. This prevents water from flowing all over the bathroom. Thank you!

**Q: what color grout is used for subway tile.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Grout color?

A: Hi Jegtim! Thanks for your question. We used \#23 Antique White from Laticrete: https://laticrete.com/en/support-and-downloads/marketing-support/grout-selector. Hope that helps!
