**★★★★★ — Kirk Gulledge, Sept. 2017**

> Based on a large bronze statue with a travertine base that we saw at the Albuquerque airport, we asked RMS to design a similar base for a bronze statue for our front courtyard. They helped us find a metal fabricator to make a steel framework and then let us select the travertine stone slabs to be used. They cut the slabs very precisely for our statue base and then sent a crew of three men to put the base together and install the statue in our courtyard. They were a pleasure to work with, and the final result was a really beautiful professional base that looks like a solid piece of stone. They have been very responsive to every question and request, and their price was extremely reasonable. We really appreciate this company an recommend them to anyone needing stone work.

> Super professional folks - have visited many times for different projects. This last time was for a design client who purchased a 2nd home in Corrales, NM and wanted to remodel the house, including the kitchen. Karen Ryan was responsive, knowledgeable, communicative and provided a competitive quote for quality products. Very Happy to have this company in our community.

> I am a custom home builder in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area. My projects are multimillion dollar homes and, I have worked with RMS for over twenty years. I think that speaks for itself.

> Rocky Mountain Stone installed our Granite countertops and they did an excellent job, the countertops were installed on time and they were exactly what we ordered. After 8 years of everyday wear and tear they look as good as the day they were installed!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Ventilation** *(in Photo Questions)*

Your kitchen is absolutely stunning with that gorgeous marble backsplash! I also want to use a slab as a backsplash, but want to know where your hood is for ventilation or what did you use for ventilation? Ty!

A: If I am remembering correctly, the stove top had a vent that raised up on the back side. I believe it is vented through the wall behind the back splash. We supplied, fabricated and installed all the marble & quartz for this project and I'm happy to contact the builder/owner to get more details if you'd like. Thank you!

**Q: Finish** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is the finish of the marble on the island polished or honed?

A: The island on this project is a polished finish. The panels behind the stove are a 400 hone.

**Q: what the name of the surfase** *(in Photo Questions)*

what the name of the surfase o f wordrop not the other on island

A: That is a quartz material called "Titanium White" by Aventine.

**Q: Island** *(in Photo Questions)*

What stone is the island and the backsplash? Thank you

A: The material used for the island and the bookmatched wall behind the sink is "Calacatta Gold" marble.....from the Carrara region of Italy.

**Q: What is the flooring?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm not sure what the flooring is. We only handled to countertops in this project.

**Q: Stove** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you get the stove we are looking for one like that

A: Thanks for your inquiry. I spoke with the homeowner and here's what he said: "The stove brand is La Cornue. I'm not sure of the exact model or color name." I suspect if you went to their website you could find this same stove. Thanks
