The issue was a vaulted ceiling with a massive 20 foot vertical timber connecting to a horizontal timber (holding that section of our home up). This timber was right where the corner of our island would be. Luke Mann worked with our architect (Gerou & Assoc..who referred Luke to us)) and seamlessly worked together with us...to take out the wall and redo the post and beams location, to a new more beautiful design...without the timber in the way of an island. Other contractors said it could"t be done. Luke even had a really nice heavy metal brace for the timbers custom made in one day. He is the nicest, most incredible contractor I have ever worked with, plus open and honest. He and his crew were always positive, friendly, and worked very hard with no wasted time...down to fixing the drywall, and painting, and clean-up every day. Luke also kept in constant communication and has very fair pricing, I also highly recommend Melissa and Phil at Gerou & Assoc.
