From the initial meeting, we were comforted knowing we would be in good hands. They are the most professional, meticulous, organized, thorough people we have worked with. They alleviated all of the stress that typically is associated with construction projects by being well informed and involved throughout the project in its entirety. Our first project with them involved a tremendous amount of detail work and a lot of problem solving (e.g. creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing wine display storage system on panels that could support a substantial amount of weight, determining proper system and lining for bottle support, etc.). We were impressed by their transparency throughout the entire process and involvement in the generation of solutions. Further, if any issues arose during construction, they kept us abreast of the situations and offered solutions/dealt with the difficulties for us with class. They are so thoughtful in their design and are so dedicated to their projects to ensure seamless transitions during the various stages of a project (e.g. design, construction, completion). A: That is from an oldie but goodie project from 2011. I couldn't find the shop drawings for the bookcase in our archives. Looking at it and knowledge from previous projects. I would say the shelves are 1.75" thick with 13" vertical spaces and random lengths. The 1.75" thickness allows you to wrap 1/2" steel tubing \[connected back to the framing\] with a 3/4" mitered cabinetry veneer - for the floating aesthetic. The 13" spacing allows room for vinyl albums \[which is 12.375"\]. Have fun with it.. **Q: Cabinet details** *(in Photo Questions)* Could you share any info on the cabinet wood and stain colors? So cool! A: We love to share whatever info we can as we firmly believe that a rising tide lifts all boat. Unfortunately, these cabinets are completely custom. The stain color was meticulously mixed custom for this project by a local craftsman, so it doesn't have a universal name or number that we can give you. We can, however, tell you that wood is a white oak veneer and the white finished panels are a matte painted finish color-matched to Benjamin Moore's Silver Satin. We're glad you appreciate the custom louver wall in our Nob Hill project! The louvers do not collapse, they rotate in order to provide variable transparencies that correspond to the required function of the room, e.g., library vs office vs guest room. The walnut louvers along with the brass hardware were custom made by the incredibly talented furniture craftsman, Chad Parkinson of the Furniture Joint in Salt Lake City. This was a completely custom unit, but I'm sure Chad would love to help you design and create anything to suit your needs. **Q: Island** *(in Photo Questions)* What is the length of island and table counter? A: Both are 6'-9" for a total island length of 13'-6". The cooktop counter area is also 6'-9" inclusive of the cooktop.
