She has always gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with choices and price and most importantly being efficient in the scope of the work. You will see Dawn at your home overseeing the different crews and work will not start unless all materials are ready to be installed. You get a schedule and timeline and her crews have worked for her for years so we didn't have any surprises. We remodeled a kitchen added new flooring (carpet/wood flooring) and baseboards , painted throughout the house. We also had our garage door and front door repainted since her crew was there. > Dawn came highly recommended by our neighbors. I started out showing her two mirrors that I wanted the bath to center around and a neutral color scheme.. She had numerous products selected that we could interchange until we found what we liked. She has long standing relationships with her craftsmen who were always here on time. Everyone was scheduled so that there was no down time waiting. When the tile was finishing early, Dawn had the plumber here that afternoon. She hade specific sales people that she works with in regards to selecting hardware, sinks etc and once selected, an email was sent to her with the product specifications that she then passed on to the electrician, plumber etc. I was very impressed that she was here almost daily to check in with the workmen. A wonderful group, highly detail orientated. I did have to hire a "handyman" to hang the mirrors, drill for the knobs on the cabinets, etc., but that is expected. She didn't rush with the paint selection, suggesting we wait until the flooring etc was in. Dawn was not pleased with the edging on the backsplash and went out herself and found that marble edging that matched perfectly. An added plus, you will love just being around her!

**Q: Installer used wrong tile grout** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi, 
We just had a bathroom redone.  The store the installer works for never specified what grout would be used for the walls of the shower. The floor got gray, the niche got white, but the white walls were supposed to get white as well.  The installer certainly should have asked us or the store.  I'll include some photos.  I know it would look better in white, but is it worth getting him to re-do the entire thing?  And IS it done in a way that it could be re-done?  The tiles are terracotta art tiles with irregular edges and I fear they will just chip if we try to remove the gray grout.  I'd love your thoughts and advice.  Thanks.  The grout is Extreme Epoxy by Proma.

**Q: Love the Granite** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the name of the granite on the island?

**Q: Need help matching floor tile to vanity!** *(in Flooring)*

Looking for some advice. We are redoing out bathrooms. They are both on the small side (especially the "master" bath. We plan to chnage everything (minus the vanities). These vantities are only about a year old and were put in right before we moved in. As much as they are not my favorite, it seems silly to ditch them. With that said, we are thinking of using white subway tiles for the showers with some sort of accent built in cubbies. We are just having the hardest time deciding on a floor.

My first chouse was larger (10-12") black hexigon flooring but now Im secornd guessing since it may make the room appear smaller. I am partial to grey everything however not sure it will match the vanities.  Any  suggestions!?

Also side note: Im not a huge fan of Marble and prefer the farm hosue look but at this point im open to any suggestions!!!

A: Hello,
I would certainly use one of the two applications you addressed in the shower for the floor . possibly a larger profile of the same  so you are not incorporating too many applications in this small space. I do not mind the dark vanity base but the top could be replaced with a  white pre-fab from Lowe's or Home Depot with the sink built it. VERY inexpensive and your dilemma will be addressed I promise. If you spend the $100 in the countertop in a white . I would use a 12 x 24 porcelain tile on the floor. This size format tiles will help make the space appear larger .

**Q: master bathroom needs help** *(in Remodeling)*

I bought this house and o guess the previous owner loved blue. Please help what can I do to the space?

A: Well, I certainly agree with the tub removal to open up the space. They had two tubs here ?Looks as if the one with the glass door is a tub/Shower combo . I would address new wall  in the Tub/shower area , new flooring and new countertops. depending in your existing lighting there you can certainly remove that soffit to elevate the mirrors with a sconces. 
You are however depleting your budget with even this small of a Reno. There is much labor costs with bathroom's. The materials are minimal . You have materials,  Plumbing, Hot moping, demo, shower door and installation. So to address your $10k budget It will be a huge stretch unless you have trades that can assist you . I think it would be fabulous tho

**Q: Gaps in LVP - what is considered acceptable?** *(in Flooring)*

Guy is coming in the morning to look at the lousy job the installer did, and I was looking to see what else might be wrong, and noticed a lot of gaps. This is a glue-down vinyl LVP - Armstrong Vivero.

A: Thought I'd chime in . Leaving the existing one layer of vinyl under has many advantages for the homeowner.When on concrete is acts as a nice moisture barrier , upstairs on a  subloor is offers an acoustic cushining as well as a smoothness to the glue down product. Imprefections are not as likely to telegraph through and the underfoot is much nicer . Much luck with your replacement. you have a good company to work with. just FYI regarding gapping. you will see some expansion and. contraction normal gapping with  temperatur change especially extreme hot & cold  temps.
