When looking around at several different contractors we ended up choosing Charter Construction. There were a lot of components with demolition and removal, floor replacement, drywall, cabinet molding, baseboards, painting, electricals and tile repair. And we were not moving out for the repair period and therefore willing to ensure the disruption. Charter undertook a thorough inspection and comprehensive quote. They were open to negotiation and creative thinking to keep the costs under control. I was impressed with the planning that went into each day and the reports on progress along with challenges identified at the end of each day. Charter carefully thought through options and solutions for each problem encountered for what turned out to be an outstanding job undertaken with minimal fuss. The project came through on time and slightly under budget. I didn't even think that happened these days. I was extremely impressed with the work, enthusiasm and the attitude of this Charter crew.
