We needed more space for our family so the requirements were a large living/family room, a guest room, and an en suite guest bath. Having never done a project of this size we had no idea what to expect. We didn't have a budget for the addition, we had no idea what a design would cost, we didn't know how it would be incorporated into the existing structure, or if it was even feasible to put an addition on our home as there are some quirky constraints to our location and building. We did know that we liked the work we had seen the group do and after meeting with John to start, we felt comfortable moving forward with them without even meeting with any other architects.
