I live in Ireland and am in the middle of finishing a renovation/newbuild extension with a new master ensuite bathroom. After living with a tiny bath tub for years we have decided to splash out on something special, and we like the shape of the V&A Cabrits. The problem is that living in Ireland, there is no showroom that we can go to, to see the bath or sit in it. From reading other's posts I see that these baths don't feel 'plastiky' like acrylic and they do retain heat, but before we splash the cash I just wondered if any of you can tell me: 1\. do they feel solid and stone-like as the promotional material would have us believe? 2\. are they easy to clean, and do they scratch easily? specifically if there are any Cabrits owners out there, 3\. does the bump in the middle stop you sliding down too far, and 4\. is it comfortable to use? 5\. Have any of you not drilled the overflow hole, or put the overflow at the side instead of at the low end? 6\. Did the plumber balk at the thought of drilling the overflow themselves?
