## Community Q&A

**Q: Restoration Hardware Performance Fabrics Preferences?** *(in Home Decorating)*

We are deciding between RH's Para Italian Performance Basket Weave (a rep told us this is somewhat new) and their Perennials Performance Textured Linen Weave for a the Belgian Classic Slope Arm Sofa - in Natural

Anyone out there in Houzz-land...
\- have any experience with the Para Italian Performance Basket Weave and how it holds up?
or
\- anyone have a strong case for one fabric over the other?

Thanks in advance!

A: Would love to hear if either of you ordered the para Italian performance basket weave? Please provide any thoughts or feedback!

**Q: Info on 30" Refrigerator/Freezer columns** *(in Appliances)*

Hi! I'm looking for 30" Refrigerator/Freezer columns. I was looking at the sub zero, Miele, Thermador and SKS. Does anyone have these and what is your experience. I heard that Miele was having problems with their ice maker. Any info appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

A: Sarah what did you end up purchasing? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger between Miele and SZ. Would love your thoughts!

**Q: Opinions/review on V&A baths please help!** *(in Bathrooms)*

Hi all, this is my first post to your wonderful community, and I have to say I'm so impressed by your amazing style and great advice. I live in Ireland and am in the middle of finishing a renovation/newbuild extension with a new master ensuite bathroom. After living with a tiny bath tub for years we have decided to splash out on something special, and we like the shape of the V&A Cabrits.
The problem is that living in Ireland, there is no showroom that we can go to, to see the bath or sit in it. From reading other's posts I see that these baths don't feel 'plastiky' like acrylic and they do retain heat, but before we splash the cash I just wondered if any of you can tell me:
1\. do they feel solid and stone-like as the promotional material would have us believe?
2\. are they easy to clean, and do they scratch easily?
specifically if there are any Cabrits owners out there,
3\. does the bump in the middle stop you sliding down too far, and
4\. is it comfortable to use?
5\. Have any of you not drilled the overflow hole, or put the overflow at the side instead of at the low end?
6\. Did the plumber balk at the thought of drilling the overflow themselves?
Sorry for all of the questions, any answers would be really helpful as we have drawn blanks on Irish forums..
TIA
CaitBee

A: Thank you tennisanyone17 and happy new year! One more question for anyone please...what do you recommend as the minimum space needed between the tub and back wall if using a floor or wall mounted fixture? Trying to decide between the two.
Thank you!
