## About

### Houzz Badges

- 500 Ideabook Saves
- Family owned
- Offers Custom Work
- 50+ years in business

For over 50 years, we have been designing and building beautiful homes in the Peoria area. We are extensively involved in the design process down to the smallest details. We are an architectural designer and customer advocate first. Design and focus on the client truly drives our business culture and philosophy. Our in-house design team works with the client to design to their specifications and dreams.

The design doesn't stop at the start of construction. Because we're all part of the same company, the design team works hand-in-hand with our own carpenters to make the final outcome as perfect as possible. We help the client with product selections and on-going design decisions throughout the entire project. We also employ, in-house, a large group of absolutely excellent carpenters – true craftsmen – who carry out the designs with the same sensitivity to the client and attention to detail that we use during the design stage.

Since we are all part of the same organization, communication is constant and seamless, and we are able to create truly unique projects. We will not compromise products or processes in order to get a job. We also have a Home Maintenance Division that is available for those small jobs that come up from time to time.

Quality design, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail are the heart of all activity in our company. We look forward to helping you create the home of your dreams!

> Hoerr & Sons gutted and remodeled our family room and an adjacent sun porch. Being an older home, we found many "surprises" along the way and they hit every curve ball that was thrown at them. They finished ahead of schedule and within our budget. More importantly, they used well-known, reputable sub-contractors who were trustworthy and did excellent work. We would recommend them without reservation and will be using them again for some exterior work later this year. They will not be the cheapest bid you get, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!

> These guys were great. On time, reasonable costs, and a great experience overall. I had a few cheaper quotes but these guys got the job done right.

> This was a substantial, whole-house remodel (keeping the same footprint) to make a very quirky, dark home on a gorgeous wooded hill into a light and airy rustic-modern home to live in the rest of my life. We went down the design and contractor path with a number of people (for a number of years) before finally coming back to Mark Hoerr and his architect/designer Seth Luginbuhl. I cannot say enough good things about the process with Mark and Seth that got us a final design. Now we are in the thick of the remodel, and cannot say enough good things about the carpenters and other tradespeople. They are extremely talented, diligent and hardworking, responsive and respectful, and all-around a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to upload finished photos around Christmas time, but will upload a few of the house in progress.
