Thinking that our construction would have been much quicker, I contacted Luc a couple of years ago to plan to work on our landscaping once the construction was finished. Our construction went way, way over schedule but Luc kept in contact and even stopped by the site to see what was happening along the way. We finally were able to have Luc do his work starting in the summer of 2022. After dealing with horrible contractors for a couple of years, it was a pleasure to have Luc doing work at our house. Luc went above and beyond on several occasions and even saved us, helping with a problem that a previous contractor created. I can't say enough about working with Luc. He had great communication. He cared about the project and how it ultimately looked making great suggestions along the way. His workers were amazing. He missed a couple of plants that we noticed just before inspection but he went out of his way to fit us in last minute (literally) and get what we were missing in the ground. Stuff like that happens but Luc dealt with it and immediately. Our final landscaping looks amazing! I only wish all of our contractors were as easy to work with as Luc and his team. Would never have thought of that! would the lighting be sufficient in a real setting? I understand this was for an exhibit? **Q: Loud birds that call in the dark** *(in Florida Gardening)* I was awakened too early this morning by a bird outside my apartment. I didn't recognize the call, but it was still dark outside. It went on and on and on, and then when it stopped, another one took up the chorus for an hour or more. I finally just got up and made coffee. I need to find somewhere that has bird calls on it so I can figure out what kind of noisy birds these were. Not a Mockingbird, because there was just one call from both of them that went on for a very long time, not like a mocker that does a symphony of short calls. My mocker is outside right now singing, and I love him. A: I know what you mean. We live very close to the everglades and the sound of the frogs chanting on certain evenings is wonderful. But every winter there's a bird who screams all night. In three years havent been able to locate it, but it returns every winter. Keep me posted if you find out more about it! **Q: Ti plant rooting** *(in Tropical Plants)* My mother-in-law sent me red Ti cuttings from her yard. We live in CO, so the cutting is dry. I put it in water about a week plus ago, and nothing is happening. Should I put it in soil? I want one to go vertical and one horizontal. The cuttings are at least an inch around and 12 long.
