### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Steve Theobald, Oct. 2019**

> Chris was Great to work in every aspect of this project which has quite the challenges. From space management (420 sq ft house), working within a budget relative to property size, having to work with several agencies (Cincinnati Zoning Dept., Hillside district and the Cincinnati Historical Society) for the project to move forward. Awesome Work Chris!!

**Comment from Kepes Architecture:**

> Thank you Steve for such a wonderful review; true pleasure to work with and for you!

**★★★★★ — Colleen Paxton, Oct. 2019**

> My husband and I very much enjoyed working with Chris Kepes. We remodeled our first floor, essentially turning 3 rooms into 1 large room. This included relocating our kitchen to one end of the room. Prior to meeting Chris, we did not how to begin. We just knew we wanted to open up the space. Chris was great in listening to our needs and talking through options, which included ideas we never initially considered. One of the best things about having a skilled architect create your plan is you know they are looking at lines and how things balance and flow. Knowing he had those things covered gave us great peace of mind. He created beautiful drawings that really brought our vision alive. He then led us to a contractor whom he had previously worked with and that turned out to be a good experience as well.
> We absolutely love our new space! I would highly recommend Chris Kepes.

**Comment from Kepes Architecture:**

> thank you Colleen! It was a true pleasure working for you :)

> We hired Chris, at Kepes Architecture, for a major 1st floor/kitchen/foyer remodel and master bath renovation. Chris incorporated our many ideas and suggestions into a beautiful plan, that would certainly bring a return on our investment. He's a true professional, and an innovative, creative person, who could see our vision, and mission, to bring new life to our home of 24 years. Chris worked to bring costs into budget, and made the necessary adjustments to meet our financial limits, while not sacrificing the integrity of the design. We would highly recommend Chris, for architecture and design projects.

**Comment from Kepes Architecture:**

> I had the pleasure of working with Chris recently on a home renovation project. I was so impressed by Chris' friendly professional approach in guiding his clients through the selection of modern plumbing fixtures here at Keidel Supply. He is a pleasure to work with and it is apparent his clients feel the same. I look forward to working with Chris in the future and would highly recommend his service to others!

> Mr. Kepes was hired to design an addition for our cape cod. We described what our vision for the space was and he was able to take that and develop a workable plan that fit or needs and budget. He was also able to improve our vision, adding in details that we never thought of. His professionalism and dedication to our project has made this stressful process easier and more manageable.

**★★★★★ — mbelved, May 2015**

> We entrusted Chris to do the overall design for the renovation of a 103 year-old carriage house. He worked very well with our general contractor (Jim Stegman construction). He was attentive to detail, had a keen aesthetic, and responded to our needs and input. He was also very accessible.

**Comment from Kepes Architecture:**

> Thank you M.! It was / is a pleasure working for you on this project!

**★★★★★ — kkhaffner, Sept. 2014**

> Chris Kepes of Kepes Architecture drew plans for a front porch addition to my house. The plans were beautiful and took the existing architecture into consideration. Chris also was able to help me work with my builder when what was built did not follow the architecture plans and construction drawings. He had a nice manner and way of making a point to the builder without making it unnecessarily uncomfortable. Chris was great to work with and did a beautiful job.

**★★★★★ — Legacy Kitchens, Sept. 2014**

> Chris Kepes is the most talented Architect I have had the pleasure of working with! He has the ability to listen and connect with clients so that when he does to the drawing board, he exceeds many expectations. His creative designs and style of drafting makes it so easy for even "non-visual" people to see the end product . I would not hesitate to refer him for any project. Whether it is a new home, kitchen with architectural elements, addition, or outdoor space, Chris will not disappoint!

**★★★★★ — pmathile, July 2014**

> By hiring Chris Kepes for an multi-year historic renovation project, we set the stage for a successful and enjoyable experience. We learned how important the role of a highly skilled and professional architect's involvement means. Chris was instrumental in directing us to the right contractor and landscape architect for us as well as may of the other craftsmen and service providers required for our project. Chris is a good listener, trustworthy, and exceptional designer.
>

> Chris Kepes designed two houses for us, one in the mountains in North Carolina and one in Charleston, South Carolina. His attention to detail and design sense is outstanding, however; even more remarkable is his ability to take the owner's ideas, thoughts, visions, etc and create the perfect home for them. We are totally comfortable in the homes he created for us because they fit our lifestyle.
