> We worked with the Studio Revolution team on a project here in San Francisco and we were impressed by the range of styles they were able to blend effectively into the project. Each piece brings just the right tone and texture to the respective space -- that demonstrates well their creativity and confidence. We look forward to working with them again.

> I have been among Studio Revolution’s very first clients and yet it has taken me this long to write a review. This is because I really don't feel that I can truly capture the ‘whole-some’ designer package this dynamic duo is. Summing up my experience would only touch the crust of their capability. I believe the depth and extent of their skill/talent have yet to be seen. There is so much more and this can be witnessed with each new breathtaking project that they churn out.
>
> Jemy and Emily (Jemily) transformed our home stunningly. Of my flawless experience from start to finish, this is what continues to remain with me…
>
> The transformation is exactly what I wanted, and this I believe is among Jemily’s greatest strengths; i.e. understanding the client. They are exceptional listeners - never interrupting and never pushing their own ideas (over mine). Like many people starting out with home decoration projects, I liked many styles and had gazillion inspiration pics. Jemily listened intently, looked through ALL the inspo images and showed genuine interest in trying to understand our needs and wishes. They were really able to pick up the core of what I wanted, what excited me, identified the unifying themes among all the inspiration and Voila… delivered the design plans that not only encompassed the needs and wish list (functional), but also captured the aesthetic I thought I couldn't really articulate - they totally got it and elevated it! I was blown off by how perfect their plans and recommendations were. I couldn't decide between the options… each so complete and beautiful!
>
> This is where I believe their second set of strengths lie – taste and editing, which they are phenomenal at. Their ability to adapt to any style, all-around trend awareness and passion for design enables them to pick just the right products. They seem to get it right the first time. This also speaks to their editing abilities as they pick not just the right product, but also know what is essential and what can go. This helps meet the function, the aesthetic and the budget!
>
> Besides being amazing designers, I appreciate them as people and had so much fun working with them and getting to know them - they are open minded, animal lovers, super kind, super fun, foodies and environmentally conscious.
>
> All in all, I had a very gratifying experience with Jemily. They put their heart and soul, were efficient, detail oriented (and it shows) and delivered our project within budget. I can’t think of a single thing that they did not accommodate.
>
> Fast forward five years later, when I have the home to myself and I sit with a cup of tea looking around, I feel extremely satisfied, my heart still fills up with excitement admiring and appreciating how beautiful our abode has turned out, and to this day it feels complete and current! There is not a single thing I want to change in it and we really, really enjoy our home! Thank you Jemily!

> It's always a fun time working with Jemy and Emily. Not only are they smart and diligent in their craft but it's plain to see that their aesthetic aims to please their client. I am a photographer who has had the pleasure of collaborating with both Jemy and Emily and I can tell they know their stuff. I would describe their designs as hip, original, and unexpected. They are an amazing duo and their work is of the highest professional caliber.

> My partner and I own a salon in Rockridge Ca, Genray Hair Salon, since 1996. We have expanded and done minor upgrades through the years, but overall look was a bit cluttered and dated. In June of 2013, my partner Genray, passed away. After months of grief, I decided I needed to get back into the salon, but I needed to do something to occupy my mind and memorialize my sweet Genray. I started interviewing designers to help me with my big vision and limited budget. I quickly found that my budget was to small for the east bay and was discouraged. Then magic and fate happened. One of my friends had recommended a design firm that ultimately could not accommodate me, but the referred my name to Studio Revolution. From the beginning, Jemy and Emily made feel understood. They did there research on me and my world and really got where I had come from and what I was looking for. When they presented me with their design, I changed nothing. They hit every mark with impeccable design and complete fluidity in the salon's flow. They pushed the envelope with key moments and included my requests. During the whole process, they showed poise under sometimes extreme pressure and chaos from vendors, construction workers, my employees, and of course me. They had a plan and a back up plan for every detail and part of the design. There were many times I wanted to give up because of the overall stress from doing a remodel, but they remained calm and carried me though it with elegance. I just had my grand reopening and I was beyond proud to show off my salon. It has been more than upgraded with luxury and beautiful tributes to my sweet Genray. I have already asked them to redo the stylists part of my salon and I know they will deliver in a way that melts my heart and enthralls my eyes. They truly have made my life better with their poise, site management, delicious and on point taste, and something that I can only describe as a magic. A true blessing.

> The founders of Studio Revolution helped our school to renovate our middle school Science room. Our goals were to improve functionality of the Science room and to inspire the students in the area of Science. The founders thoroughly understood our goals, stayed within the budget and were timely in their dealings with us. They also helped us to develop a timeline for ordering materials and accomplishing the work during the summer so that the Science room would be ready by the start of school.
> We couldn't be happier with the results. We have a clean, orderly Science room with lots of storage and accessible equipment for the teacher and students. We have walls papered with beautiful custom decoupage made of science textbook pages. The room is now functional and inspiring which is just what we wanted.

> Jemy and Emily created our nursery for our first son, Skyler. Overall, they did an incredible job in a timely manner!
>
> We told them about our concept when we first met them: industrial/Philippe Starck with some sort of eye-catching neon accent (retro feel) plus rock-star appeal. Confused?! Not to them - they were already excited upon hearing this. We also told them that we were adventurous and game for anything. Right then, we knew that we had hit it off with Emily and Jemy right away. They were very excited and receptive about the concept, and a short time later, they presented us with two concept boards depicting two options.
> One option was rather safe but still tasteful, and the other was FUN, daring, and fabulous!
>
> In the latter option, they suggested a custom rhino wallpaper as the focal point, which is absolutely terrific and very Starck. They also gave us the marquee lighting that spells out Skyler's name, which we had originally requested, to give the space industrial and rock-star flavors. To fulfill our request on the neon color, they proposed to re-do the entire flooring with chartreuse neon color, for a dramatic effect. Then they accessorized the space with industrial-looking furniture. In the end, they created a space which is consistent with the theme/vision that we had: industrial/Starck/retro/rock star. It is really an amazing feeling to have them understand this seemingly complex theme from the beginning and then realize the vision thoughtfully and quickly.
>
> We absolutely love their work attitude and personalities. They are such good listeners and very attentive to what you like and dislike. They were not afraid to give suggestions or provide opinions on what we proposed, but still be very mindful of our vision and likes. They responded to emails and text very promptly, and they are mindful of our tight timeline. FYI, they finished the space in about two months, which is pretty impressive. As with all design jobs, there will be glitches along the way (attributed to contractors, etc.) and they were always ready to tackle and resolve them in a timely manner. They are also always keen on providing alternatives if what they originally proposed are not your liking. Finally, they always try their very best to seek cost-effective solutions and pieces, so that the project is finished within budget.
>
> Overall, we had a fantastic collaborative experience with Studio Revolution. We could not have asked for better designers.

> Jemy and Emily are creative and professional. They stay on budget and are excellent at space planning to create a room that is functional and reflective of the client. They work together to manage the project, communicating with each trade on site and providing attention to every detail that results in each design coming to fruition.

**★★★★★ — mrscatherine, June 2013**

> I hired this company to remodel my living room. I had some ideas in mind and told them about my budget, which wasn't that big. They really know what they're doing and the project turned out to be exceptional! I love it and my friends envy it! They are very easy to work with and I would definitely re-hire them when I need to.

  - Description: We had a blast designing this nursery loft for our design savvy, adventurous and neon-loving clients. Our concept was "the un-themed nursery". The biggest constraint with this project was working an existing bulky sofa into an already teeny, tiny, 120 sq ft space. But despite it's small size, this nursery makes a big statement with custom painted neon floors, rhino wallpaper, industrial storage options and a personalized marquee night light. Can we say coolest infant on the block?
