> Melina is "The Master"!  I would highly recommend her for all your projects large or small!  She helped me choose paint colors to transform my house into a warm, calm and welcoming home! I was nervous as these were colors I never would have chose, like never.  I started in the kitchen, with the color she suggested and LOVED it! It looks amazing! After waffling for a week, as I was afraid of these colors I decided to go forward with the colors she chose through the dinning room, living and bathroom. Love all of it! The other great thing I really appreciate about Melina is the lines of communication were open; she was easy to get a hold of and responded to all of my questions and concerns in a timely manor. The sources she uses for her product and design (tile, wallpaper, fabrics, hardware, lighting and etc.) are individual, special and unlike anything else you see in any residential or commercial applications. > Melina, owner of Trappings Studio, designed, ordered, selected excellent professional subcontractors and supervised the remodeling of my living room and bar area.  Our home was built in 1972 and  we wanted an updated modernized look.  She designed a wall that went over an existing  travertine wall that was really outdated.  Using sheet rock, a set in area for an expensive painting, tile fireplace covering and glass shelving the living room was transformed into a WOW redo.    We selected Walker Zenger tile for our bar area, with a beautiful retrofitted black granite slab, updated sink and new cabinets.  A couple years later Melina helped in remodeling our laundry room and selected wall paper for a half bath.

**Q: Backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the backsplash tile in the kitchen with white cabinets, black countertops and the silvery teardrop pendant lights?

A: This is backsplash is Walker Zanger's Helsinki Silver Dusk Marble  1 1/4" x 6" Long Brick Mosaic.

So hard to find, but this is perfect! Would you mind sharing info?

A: So glad you like it!  This is a custom color that we made from Benjamin Moore paint.  We started with Benjamin Moore Galveston Gray and then lightened it a bit and brightened it up with a touch of blue green.
