He explained to me that there was a period of time that they had some major supplier issues that was out of their control and that they had now resolved the problem and put in measures to ensure it never happens again. So being a little paranoid, i asked them to send me an email to confirm i would receive my order within the 8 week time they quoted me and if they couldnt delivery i could cancel and get my refund. So i decided to place an order because based on my research their product quality was excellent and it was priced well. Also, i thought that the few reviews about delivery time didnt outweigh all the positive reviews. I emailed them constantly to get updates on my order. They were prompt to reply and let me know what stage my order was in. To keep it brief, they delivered as promised and i am very satisfied with the product. Although the online ordering system put the order right through, I was informed via email that it was actually a custom order as they only stocked the product in black leather, and the lead time was 8-12 weeks. I decided to wait patiently. So I waited, and waited...finally decided to enquire after hearing nothing from the company for 11 weeks. They were incredibly apologetic in their response, and quite polite. However, it sounds like they may be going out of business. So, order at your own risk! Their website is still live for ordering. Here is the response I received: > > We sincerely apologize for this huge inconvenience however IFN MODERN recently discontinued all Pavilion product line off U.S market and are also in the middle of discontinuing all of the reproductions as well. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and supply chain issue, our company made a recent change of business plans. We have been contacting the customers affected by this huge change on the priority list and which your order was on the list as well. We could not be any sorrier to brought you this bad news as you already waited 3months. Now 5 month later I am still waiting to get the right product. When I received my piece I was so shocked that the quality of the furniture was nothing like the pictures on their website or in their Youtube video. It looked like a cheaply made Chinese furniture (Later I did find out their manufacturer is in China). I've been contacting them to get a replacement for my defective pieces, but the process has been just painful. You do not get customer service from them. Once you paid them the money they don't care any more. Especially the sales person Niki. She is not helpful and very very rude. There are so many better online furniture websites out there with way better customer services and better quality products. The first flag was that I placed an order for an item listed on their website as in stock, with a 5-10 day delivery estimate. I paid in full. I was contacted a few days later and told my item wasn't in stock, and the item would need to be custom ordered with an 8-12 week delivery window. At 9 weeks I had heard nothing. I contacted IFN and was told they had some containers held and were experiencing delays, but hoped to have my item delivered within the 12 week window. At 12 weeks, still nothing. I contacted Isabel, my rep, and heard NOTHING back from her. Dead silence. I called the main IFN \# and spoke with a rude customer service rep who said they need my SS\# to get my items out of customs. This sounded sketchy to me, so I asked for an email follow up. The customs website they linked to states explicitly that goods under $2,500 don't need a SS \# to be released, so I called the customs broker who they listed in the email, and they confirmed this, also stating that the email I received sounded extremely sketchy and against protocol. So it's not 4 months after I placed my "in stock" order, I'm out hundreds of dollars, and have received no help from customer service other than to try to extort sensitive financial information from me. Did you have any specific questions regarding the LC 3 chair in aniline black? We are currently out of stock on the aniline leather however we do have the Italian leather in stock. The difference between the Italian vs Aniline is that Italian leather is more durable as its 100% top grain which has the protective coating. Italian leather is well known and widely used in residential and commercial space. It is also suitable for high traffic areas. Aniline leather is 100% full grain and its semi-aniline with light surface coating. It does have the durability and will not stain however since it has not gone through treatments like the Italian, it might wear off overtime and its not suitable for high traffic areas.
