How many folks can say that when they design and build a house? We lived in Virginia and decided to move to Fairhope, Alabama, near our grandkids. Our son in law knew Craig and we contacted him about a year ago. He met with us on the property we had bought in a neighborhood called Point Clear Stables. Having looked around the area, found a house similar to what we wanted, we worked with a designer. After approval of the design, construction started on the house in early 2017. Craig said to give him 7 months to build it, and we said fine, as we were living in Virginia and needed to sell our home there. Fortunately, the next door neighbor in Point Clear Stables mentioned that he employed Craig's wife, Hanna, to help with his interior design. We contacted Hanna and contracted her to help us coordinate meetings with vendors. What a blessing! She set up meetings for us, helped us select and match all items, and aided in the interior design. We probably visited the house five times during the building phase. Craig kept us informed, called when necessary for a decision, and Hanna sent pictures. > > We moved in September, 2017 and are very pleased with the house. Craig showed attention to detail, made several improvement suggestions during construction, and built a fine house. If you were grading the experience of building a house, we would give Craig a solid A. He answered our phone calls and texts, responded to our needs, and fixed things that needed to be corrected in a good and timely manner.
