Studio is lovely. Good workmanship and great to work with overall. Unfortunately the French drain they installed isn't working and some of the bricks in the path they laid are sagging. They haven't corrected despite numerous requests over almost a year now. **Comment from Malm Construction:** > Thank you for the review. But as explained numerous times by malm construction and their foremen on site. the drain you are talking about, is not a french drain. It is a mitigation trench required by the city of Sacramento, for the increased footprint of your project. It is only designed to collect and control the increased water produced from the addition to the slow emitter located near the edge of your property. this is done with the connections to 2 down spouts on your studio. Not intended to be used as a french drain. No other connections should be made to the installed system. **★ — HU-88134271, June 2019** > Great job. True, construction is messy, however, Malm constructions respects your home and demand that all those working on your property clean up after themselves daily. I was amazed when I came home to a clean construction site. They did a fantastic job keeping things in order, picked up and livable during the process.
