Through the exploration of contemporary, religious and biblical themes, I create sculptures that explore spiritual truth and the paradoxical truths of suffering and redemption, grief and comfort. The mediums I use include various types of clays fired at high or low temperatures and surfaced with oxides washes, slips, terra sigillata, engobes and glazes. I have also been known to to add encaustic, wax, metals, glass, and found objects to add layers to a piece. My work has been exhibited in national and international shows as well as museums and is part of several collections in the United States and Mexico. ### Services Provided - fine art - outdoor sculptures ### Areas Served - Miami ### Typical Job Cost $2,000 - 10,000 ## Business Details | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Business Name | Aimee Perez Sculptor | | Address | 4706 SW 75th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33155, United States | | Phone | (305) 972-7766 | | Website | http://www.aimeeperez-sculptor.com | | Followers on Houzz | 98 | **Social profiles:** - X (Twitter) — http://www.twitter.com/aimeeperezsculptor ## Contact - **Houzz profile:** [Aimee Perez Sculptor](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/artists-and-artisans/aimee-perez-sculptor-pfvwus-pf~755905553) - **Website:** http://www.aimeeperez-sculptor.com - **Phone:** (305) 972-7766 ## Credentials **Certifications & Awards** - 2017 - Merit Award - Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville Alabama - 2015 - Best in Show - Artsight Gallery, Coral Gables, Fl - 2014 - Best in Show - CLM Ceramics - Miami, Fl - 2013 - Best in Show - CLM Ceramics - Miami, Fl ## Reviews **Overall rating: 5.0 out of 5 — 6 reviews** ### All 6 reviews **★★★★★ — tiafuaco, June 2016** > Excelente cerámicas mis respetos y felicitaciones. Esas fotos demuestran que de una artista del como!ejo universo de los silicatos **★★★★★ — User, March 2015** > Art is emotion materialized, and a great artist is able to take her emotions and capture them in the pieces she creates in such a way that the pieces project the emotion to the viewer. Such are Aimee Perez' sculptures. Her pieces, whether whimsical or serious, never fail to evoke an emotion. I have been collecting art for years, and my favorite pieces are those that give me pleasure and challenge me every time I look at them. This is what drew me to Aimee's sculptures. As the owner of two of her pieces, they are among my favorites for that very reason. Aside from Aimee's raw ability to mold clay, the emotion with which she imbues her pieces affect me every time I look at them. Her pieces are so much more than beautiful art - if you acquire one, it will be the beginning of an emotional relationship. > > Fernando **★★★★★ — captnjim, Oct. 2014** > I have been an artist for over fifty years. Working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media...metal and ceramic sculpture. Instructor of watercolor and acrylic paint for seven years and a judge at several art shows. The first time I saw Aimee Perez's sculptures I was blown away. Her originality and mastery of glazes and other techniques demonstrate the work of a master sculptor. Her body of work brings out a defining moment with the viewer to explore every facet and color of each piece. I was so taken with her work that I arranged for my wife and I to see her work again. We purchased two pieces and enjoy looking at them daily in our home. I highly recommend this very talented and imaginative artist to anyone who appreciates fabulous sculptures. **★★★★★ — Tweak Your Space, Aug. 2014** > I have 2 sculptures by Aimee displayed in my home and I could not be happier with them!
