**★★★★★ — Ari Jones, May 2022**

> We had the most wonderful time working with Jason and his crews. Jason was always very careful to listen to our priorities and needs, and in turn was an excellent communicator every step of the way. The carpentry and paint crews were top notch. We particularly liked the older gentleman on the paint crew who went out of his way to be helpful!
>
> For this project, we ended up replacing all of our wood siding and doing structural repairs to our 1912 home. We definitely plan to contact Jason in the future to work on our basement as well.

**★★★★★ — Michelle Chang, June 2020**

> We were very pleased with the work done by Jason and his team. They did an excellent job and were very responsive about taking care of things even after the project wrapped up.

**★★★★★ — sandy park, April 2020**

> After renovations with a contractor we were very unhappy with, we interviewed a lot of contractors for our new project. We chose Home Healing Renovations because they were communicative, professional, and Jason was personable. The crew was with us for a little under 2 months while we lived in the house. They kept the outside as clean and tidy and we gave us daily updates before they left each day. We also received regular invoices from their front office and had everything in writing. Upon completion, they left no evidence they were there. They were working a project down the street and my kids and I like seeing them on our walk to school each morning. I highly recommend them and would use them for any other projects we might need in the future.
> Our project included a new foundation, reframing of 2 out of 4 of our walls, stucco, and adding two attic vents.

**★★★★★ — Ruby Sanger, April 2020**

> Jason and the team did a wonderful job on rehabbing the back room of our house. This area was likely added to our 1909 house in the 1930s. It had a decrepit bathroom, failed ceiling, terrible floor, poor structural strength, old holes in the walls from old pipes, etc. They gutted it, brought it up to earthquake and other codes, created internal and exterior finishes (window frames, siding, picture rail, painting, etc) to match the historic features of the house, and created a beautiful tiled bathroom and pretty laundry / guest room.
>
> This was all accomplished very quickly based on our need, without my needing to manage the details (which I would like to but could not in this case). They implemented quick changes when needed (the flooring we thought we were going to order was not available, we needed a Simpson strong wall to support the sliding glass door which required another permit, etc), Like many projects that open up a can of worms (an old addition), the project requirements and price did grow some from the first quote, but that is primarily due to our rush - we had not realized all the existing problems in the walls, etc.
>
> I felt like they really cared sincerely about the project coming out perfectly, and they went above and beyond to make that happen, in addition to being both friendly and respectful of our privacy. When there was a surprise rain mid project, they came out immediately to cover it completely. When the cat walked though the wet paint (bad kitty) they repainted it. When we shifted to a hardwood floor they brought in subs to install immediately and without extra charge. The detailing was very well done inside and out, and accomplished within budget.
>
> Our friends are amazed at how beautiful it looks and how quickly the work was completed! Highly recommended.

**★★★★★ — Rachel Sandoval, Sept. 2018**

> Finally, a honest, trustworthy, and timely contractor in the neighborhood! We tried HHR on the recommendation of a friend, who had their kitchen and baths remodeled by them... and ended up using them to build our new in-law unit and redo our decks this summer. All of the work was high craftsmanship, and there design team is great. Would repeat.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Zline Oven not working** *(in Appliances)*

I have had my Zline in use for a couple of months. When I try to preheat it, it has take up to an hour. It will never get to temp if I put it on convection. When I made cookies they were supposed to take 11 minutes and took 25. Depending on the setting, some will be burnt and some raw after the recommended cooking time. There is no even cooking on the convection setting at all. I have contacted zline several times and they eventually get back with me via email and ask me to troubleshoot it. I have and it passes those tests. I can't get a live person on the phone after numerous attempts. I really need them to send someone to come and look at it. I had it professionally installed. This over was a huge splurge for me. I absolutely LOVE to cook but now nothing I make comes out right. 😭 I can't even make a can of biscuits. I have all this money invested in a piece of art at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have watched numerous YouTube videos on how to preheat it, then change settings etc. Thank you!

A: I VERY MUCH wish I'd never bought this piece of crap.

We bought the oven with a bunch of other appliances during our remodel, and it took awhile to get it installed due to the normal construction process. When we finally did and had moved in to our new kitchen, we realized it wouldn't get hot enough. Turns out, the oven door was manufactured incorrectly and couldn't close all the way. They sent a new one, which was cool, but then we had to pay to get it installed again. After already paying our guys to install the first one. They also left the disposal of the old range up to us, and with a 36" hunk of steel, that's not so easy.

Okay, great. New oven is installed. It worked for about 6 months, then wouldn't heat up again to the proper temperarture again. It seems like the lower heating element is out, because it works on high (ish, still doesn't get up to proper temperatrue) and broil, but nothing else. Now they won't replace it becasue it's been over a year since we originally purchased the first oven. I also cannot find anyone in my area who works on these ovens.

I'm so heartbroken. I'm the kinda person who bakes her own bread twice a week and makes cookies for my second grader's class all the time. I'm baking obsessed. We watch the Great British Baking Show for family tv night. But I can't bake anything and it looks likely I'll have to pay out of my own pocket to replace the whole unit (NOT with a Zline!)

Our company installs several new kitchens a month, and we do our own remodels. If zline had a good product, we'd be selling entire appliance suites right and left to our clients and using them for our projects. But these things stink. NEVER AGAIN. If you're here looking to see whether or not you should buy one, the answer is a CLEAR NO.

**Q: red door question** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, could you tell me the color of the door please? Its lovely. TIA

A: Hey there! I wish I knew.... the owner provided that paint himself.
