> We hired David to finish painting our Century home's dining room, which a previous painter had started. David was given all the details & inspected the room himself reassuring us that he could make the room "beautiful." After a wk. of sanding & patching himself (prep work) along w/ an additional wk. 1/2 of painting the job was completed. David was very neat & repectful to our family. However, 3 wks after completion my dining room's crown molding, beams & wood panels started peeling & bubbling. David came back to inspect, but blamed previous painter & agreed to fix at a discounted price after we had paid him $2,500. We had paint inspected by chemists(checked out normal) at S.W. and a moisture meter reading of zero for our walls. Obviously, we feel we wasted our money, time and are still left w/ a room incomplete! We just want what we paid for. I would not recommend David Farone, which tends to do large commercial projects vs. residential. David actually said he was doing me a favor and felt bad about what the previous painter had done. I was flexible with his time, for he would run off or be delayed due to other projects. I wish I would have hired a different painter!
