It's amazing and fun to help people use their own personal style and needs to plan unique functional and safe spaces they truly love. We start with planning the space in general while looking at different ideas and possibilities and work towards a detailed plan for purchase and installation. Every person, project and timeline is different but we can get everything done in a couple of days or you can take all the time you need to consider options, and once the planning is complete you can still call on me with any project questions or concerns. We can do this completely remote or as a mix of in-person and remote if you live in or near Austin, Texas. This process will help you determine what materials and services you will need to complete your cabinet project, and provides insight for how to save money and time. The local and national suppliers and contractors that I recommend provide quality products and services and I especially try to work with ones who are people and earth friendly. My personal contacts and dedicated trade representatives that I've worked with for years bring an extra wealth of specialized knowledge, can be extremely helpful with ordering assistance and possibly offer trade discounts as well. Sometimes the money saved by using those discounts can actually more than cover my service fees!

I grew up learning how to design, fix and build things with the materials and tools on hand. I've helped build several houses and worked on many different kinds of remodeling projects. For several years I exclusively built and installed hundreds of frameless cabinet style kitchens planned by other people, which inspired me to become a better cabinet planner for everyone. Knowing exactly how things are built, what is available or possible, and understanding function and current safety standards are priceless skills when planning any project. Specialization is a time, frustration and money saver every single time!  I am not a registered interior designer, I want to help you be your own designer. Whether you are just needing clarifications on particular points or if you really need an experienced professional for detailed project guidance, my services are probably perfect for you.
