The tile spacing was supposed to be 1/8” but he installed them touching each other in the living room and master bedroom > To “fix” the spacing issue he used a hand-held saw with a diamond blade to open the grout lines. As a result, he damaged 150 and now the tile edges are chipped and rough. > This is what he proposed to “fix” chipped tiles: > “”My plan is to remove the damaged tiles, clean them and polish the chipped edge with dry polish wheel, approx 220 grit. Then re-install. This process will remove a minimal amount of material, less than 1/16.”” > If you know anything about tile installation you have to know that what he proposed is a complete nonsense. Removing tiles without breaking them? > In the shower he installed pebbles on the floor that slope away from the drain, did not seal the shower wall tiles, did not install the shower glass enclosure and one of the shower walls has a hump in the middle. He reinstalled that wall with the same hump in the same spot!!!Ron Eckburg of Perfect Tile illegally performed plumbing tasks, painting and illegally contracted for a mirror removal. The Arizona ROC issued a warning letter to him regarding his illegal work outside of his license.Even when I asked, he did not inform me that he does not have a plumbing license. > He abandoned the work on 09.18.2019. And as of 10.21.2020, he refuses to fix his mistakes and finish the job. **Comment from Perfect Tile Inc. of Fountain Hills:** > This review is totally bogus. He submitted a complaint to Arizona Registrar of Contractors and his case was dismissed by a court of law. He should not be permitted to post anything like this, it is nothing but slander.
