The Backstory: My name is Rod Flowers, co-owner of Texas Tile House since 2005 with Yancey Traylor, all-around great guy and brother-in-law of 37 years and counting. The spirit of Texas Tile House will live on through two newly created entities, Home Renovations Pro and Traylor Remodeling. In 2019, Yancey and I made the thoughtful decision to close the Texas Tile House showroom to reduce overhead and allow us to focus solely on the homeowners and their renovations. This exciting new chapter gives our clients and their projects even greater personal attention and service. Yancey and I were installers for several years before opening Texas Tile House in 2005. Quality installations and superior service have always been the highest of priorities and that will never change! Same great crews, same great workmanship, same great service! We will continue to consult with clients about their projects during the in-home measure, which is free of charge. We know renovating can be a stressful time, therefore, we aim to alleviate as much of the stress as possible. We are there for you before, during, and after the renovation. Unfortunately, when my fold down seat was installed it was not installed correctly with wood backing and the screws were pulling out. Home Renovations Pro removed tile, added the required wood support, reinstalled the backer board and tile. The fold down shower seat is now securely installed, looks terrific and I have peace of mind that it can be safely used. The scope of work included removal of two vertical columns next to a sink island; relocation and conversion of a sink island into on elevation island; replacement of cabinets; replacement of countertops; replacement of a light fixture above the middle island; removal of wall texture; repaint of walls and ceiling; removal of a desk area and addition of a second pantry; conversion of a doorway into a wide walk through; replacement of tile flooring with vinyl laminate to match the living room.
