**★★★★★ — rchoff96, March 2025**

> Outstanding customer service from design and many questions that I had to delivery and post delivery. Everything turned out better than expected! Love it. Thank you especially to Shannon and Edythe! They are the best.

**★★ — Max, Aug. 2024**

> They don’t live up to their commitments and bait and switch products with customers. When caught they stop responding.. stay away.

**Comment from WineRacks:**

> Max, I am sorry you feel you had unsatisfactory service from WineRacks.com. Can you tell us a bit more about what your issue is? I don't see any recent orders from anyone with the name Max.

**★★★★★ — Brendan Contant, March 2020**

> This is a first class manufacturer of exceptionally well built wine racking systems. Their customer service is excellent and they provide buyers with a wide range of finishing options at commensurate price points.

**★ — Justin K, April 2019**

> Absolutely horrible and incredibly unprofessional company to work with, my recommendation would be to stay away to save yourself the hassle. They ordered the wrong racks after a phone conversation and instead of correcting the mistake, they insisted I pay for new racks. Do not use this company find a company with class who appreciates and respects their customers.

**Comment from WineRacks:**

> On 4/9, Justin called in to order 2 Mag1-K VintageView wine racks over the phone. He specifically asked for this model wine rack. This model wine rack is one deep. There is another model that is the Mag2-K which is two deep.
>
> He placed the order over the phone as he wanted one of the wine racks to be custom cut which is not a service we offer via the website. We got him a price for the cost to cut one of the wine racks.
>
> In going over the order over the phone, we specifically repeated the name of the item back to him on the phone when the order was being placed.
>
> We stated the one rack would be cut down to a seven bottle rack (it would be 14 bottles if it was a two deep).
>
> We sent an invoice via email the day the order was placed that we asked him to review. That invoice states that what was being ordered was the Mag1-K. The invoice also states that cut racks cannot be returned.
>
> We always request over the phone with phone orders that the customers review the invoices to further insure that all the information is correct.
>
> Based on all of this, we ordered the MAG1-ks which are one deep. Justin received the racks and realized they were one deep when he wanted two deep racks. He then contacted us saying the wrong racks were ordered/delivered.
>
> Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not accept cut wine rack for a returns so we informed him that we could not take the cut rack back as a return. We offered an exchange for the one rack that was returnable under the policy. Justin only wanted a full refund.
>
> Upon speaking to the manufacturer, they will make a one time exception and accept the custom cut wine rack for a return. Justin needs to ship both racks back and then a refund will be processed.

> Beautiful WineRacks, we installed in a wet bar area, added quite a bit of elegant storage for my client, who is quite a wine collector. Thank you, Shannon, for your excellent customer service!

**★★★★★ — Wexford Custom & Renovations, Inc., Aug. 2016**

> WineRacks helped us design a large custom wine room that was incorporated into a full scale bar. They were extremely helpful through the design and install phase. Everything was delivered on time and the mahogany wood was beautiful. We had a minor issue with the finishing around the arch for the center display of the wine racks. They worked with us and sent multiple arches until it came perfect. Looking forward to working with them on future projects.

**★★★★★ — Black Millwork Co., Nov. 2015**

> It's been an absolute pleasure working with Asia and the Wineracks team. They really know their stuff. Our showroom display constantly draws the praises of our clients. With endless possibilities of finishes, styles, and species, you'd be hard pressed not find something you love!

**★★★★★ — SIR Development, Nov. 2015**

> I have worked with WineRacks on two projects and have had an A+ experience. We had an installation question and was helped via the phone and email and this company is extraordinarily easy to work with. They have great products and installation know-how.

> Worked with WineRacks.com on a project in Australia. Shannon is customer service was excellent and helped in every regard. Products were sent from the US to Australia and arrived correct and in good condition. Very highly recommended.

**★★★★★ — Daoust Design and Construction, Nov. 2015**

> Being a design-build firm we have an in-house designer who put together the preliminary look and feel of our wine cellar before contacting WineRacks. They have an online catalog of their racks that are a direct download into our architectural software (Cheif Architect X7) making it a convenient way to begin layout. Alternately Amy at WineRacks is a welcome talent who was able to iron out all of the details of our space and turned around a quick revised layout for us including all additional trim and crown necessary to complete the job. The ordered shipped out promptly and all in all it was a seem-less process. They even expedited an additional order of crown for us on short notice. Our experience was a great one and we won't hesitate to use them again.

> WineRacks is a top notch company. I am new liquor store owner and I wanted to expand my wine section. I reached out to Shannon at WineRacks numerous times over the past year and talked about "lie-down" wine racks. On each occasion she demonstrated to be very professional, courteous and responsive. The quality and value of the wire wine racks is unmatched, not to mention the service!
>
> I will continue to use WineRacks as I expand my liquor store.

> Our designer was great to work with however when it came time to deliver, everything fell apart. 1) Order came 1 month late due to their problems with their designated shipper 2) Our extensive order for wine racks in our large cellar came with major components missing or broken to which the company took no effort to replace (broken crown molding was documented by the shipping company). 3) missing two butcher block boards entirely and some trim and even screws, which we had to replace on our dime to assemble the racks 4) the directions or lack thereof, was laughable even to our builder and cabinet maker. If you do experience problems, do not expect WineRacks.com to take responsibility.

**Comment from WineRacks:**

> Susan, your order shipped within the lead time you were given by the designer. Due to the size of your order, your racks was slated to ship via freight which you were informed of prior to shipping.
>
> After your order had shipped via freight, you refused shipment because the truck would not make it up your driveway. We worked with you to find other means of delivering and rerouted the freight delivery. This issue was resolved and you accepted delivery of the order in June.
>
> You did not contact us directly about any missing components and we did not know that you felt there was an issue with your delivery until you filed a dispute with your credit card company in early July. This dispute was filed for the entire cost of the order despite the fact that the entire order was not missing or damaged. After reviewing both our documentation and yours, that dispute was closed in our favor by the credit card company.
>
> You then filed another dispute in late August for the entire cost of the order but this time with different reasons for the dispute. The credit card company again closed in our favor, this time noting that the dispute claim had changed.
>
> If anything had been damaged in shipping, we would have been happy to work with you to replace those components as per our policy. We have been in business for over twenty years and naturally want to supply the best possible customer service. If you feel you are still missing components then we would be happy to try to work with you to rectify that. You can contact me personally at customerserv@wineracks.com.
>
> Thanks and have a great day.

## Community Q&A

**Q: what Wine door was used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’m interested in the doors. Are they double pane? Where were they purchased? Thanks.

A: I hope all is well! We did not provide the glass doors for this project so, unfortunately, I can't help with that answer. We provided the wine racking design and wine racks for the space

**Q: Corner wine rack insert** *(in Kitchens)*

does any vendor make something like this that can be secured to the open cabinet spaces?

A: I hope all is well! We have a variety of quarter rounds on our website. You can find them here on our website

**Q: I'm looking to build a smaller but similar cellar...** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you purchase the wine racks?

A: nickmock, we did not build this cellar but I recognize the VintageView wine racks inside. Those ones are on a floor to ceiling mounting frame but you can also mount them directly to a wall if your space allows it. You can find these racks at vendors like WineRacks.com. Cheers!

**Q: Wine Menu** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, Great Job!
I love the black wine rack. What is the material of it? Is it just a paint or a wooden board?

A: samira ahmadi, we didn't do this project but it looks like black chalkboard paint with racks like the wine ledge over it.

**Q: Great wine rack!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you provide the supplier? Thank you.

A: LR Design Studio, I hope all is well. We did not build this cellar but I recognize the VintageView wine racks
They are quite versatile racks and can be mounted onto a frame (like you see) or directly into a wall. We would be more than happy to help you determine what may work best for your space. Cheers!

**Q: Having trouble finding shelves under wall mounted wine racks** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have this kind of grand idea in my head about having an area underneath the wine racks, but I haven't had any luck finding anything that actually fits on Houzz, Etsy, etc.. I drew in an idea for what I had (ignore the black shelf thing), but nothing I've found looks sleek or modern. I've been leaning towards a natural rustic wood look, with maybe metal stemware holders underneath.
Everybody on these forums seem to have great design sense, so I'm really hoping to get some advice here. Anything you can suggest is appreciated! :)

A: Andrew, the Vinolet is actually a limited run and unfortunately I don't believe it will be offered in any other finishes, depths
