Otto/Walker Architects was founded on the dual principles of designing structures which fulfill the aesthetic as well as practical desires of its clients while utilizing all the attributes a building site has to offer. These natural gifts often include expansive views, generous solar exposure, mature vegetation and topography which can help to enhance a design. To be successful in a mountain environment such as Park City, Utah, these two key goals must be achieved while also providing a beautiful project which endures the test of time.

Established by business partners Rick Otto and Mark Walker in 1987, Otto/Walker Architects has grown and evolved during the 24 years of operation. We have had the pleasure of designing projects with a diverse and enthusiastic clientele over the years and based on the success of those experiences, the opportunity to work with many of those clients on multiple occasions.

> Rick Otto and his firm are true professionals -- detail-oriented, creative, flexible, friendly,  and accessible.   Rick and his team were able to take our vision for our home and turn it into a reality, and the results are stunning!  From the initial renderings to the final plans, Rick worked closely with us to refine and modify them to match the look we were trying to achieve.  From the beginning Rick knew what our homeowner's association required and he ensured the approval and permitting process went smoothly.  He and his team met all deadlines.  Because we live out of town and could not be present throughout the entire project, we relied on Rick to monitor the progress and handle any issues concerning the plans and specifications that may have arisen.  We started discussing the renderings in late 2014, broke ground in the spring of 2015, and we are now essentially complete, save for some exterior work delayed by late spring snowfall. We recommend Rick and his firm with enthusiasm!

> While this was our first project with Otto- Walker we have built and remodeled homes for the past 24 years. It was also our first Park City Project. Otto-Walker was by far the best architectural firm we have worked with. They are very knowledgeable regarding local zoning regulations. They collaborated with our contractor and local boards adapting our project to conform with regulations when site issues arose. Their responsiveness kept our project on time and on budget, rare in the building experience. We also found their them be be creative but, willing to incorporate our ideas into the concept. A: Darleen, this is a natural grey quartzite stone material, roughly 4" thick.

A: Terry, this is a grey quartzite blend and is a natural stone that could be bought from a stone distributor. The stone is roughly 4" thick and has a fair amount of weight. In this area, this stone would cost $25.00 to $30.00 per square foot.

A: Unfortunately, we were not involved in the selection of the console table, so I do not have that information. It is nice.
