After a brief career in the landscape and nursery business he decided to pursue his interest in home furnishings. Working for Marshall Fields, he designed model rooms and traveled extensively in Europe and Asia looking for new furniture sources. With this background in architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and business, he opened his own design studio in 1987. Since then he has enjoyed a wide variety of commissions, from Montserrat to San Francisco, from hair salons to private planes.

> We had the pleasure of working with Jack Kreitinger. Our team worked closely with Jack to come up with the custom design for the wall paneling, custom cabinetry, as well as the wine cellar door. This project showcased Jack's many different design skills and expertise. Our collaborative design work created beautiful speak-easy style pool room and lounge. From sleek and classic shaker style paneling, to dramatic 3-step crown molding, this project made a theatrical statement that is sure to impress all guests.

> I would like to submit the following review for a designer we have worked with several times in our last two homes. The designer is Jack Kreitinger of Kreitinger Design. With the purchase of our last home we brought Jack and his team in for a complete renovation of the kitchen. The original kitchen consisted of standard builders material and we wanted an updated, warm space with a sense of style to both enjoy the space and use for entertaining. After meeting with Jack and reviewing the budget of approximately $50K, Jack and his team came back with some amazing design options including movement of appliances for better work flow, incorporating a combination of seven different  tiles for the back splash creating a statement and a proposal incorporating a banquette  for the best use of the dinning space in the room. One item that Jack proposed  that was unique was the placement of a power strip underneath the upper cabinets versus the traditional placement of outlets along the wall. With the placement of the power strip under the cabinets the beauty of the back splash was seamless accross the room. It has been several years since the renovation and we still receive high praise for the look of the room. Jack was great to work with and recommended contractors who performed the work within budget and on time.

**Q: Beautiful** *(in Photo Questions)*

Lovely kitchen. I would love to know what the countertop material is and the color. I also would love to know where you purchased the stools from.

A: Thanks! The counters are black absolute granite in a suede finish. The stools are from Restoration Hardware. Glad you liked it!

Love the look of this kitchen.  Would you please share where you got the kitchen stools from and also what is the color and material of the countertops

A: Sorry for the slow response - this question just showed up on my feed. The chairs belonged to the client - I believe they bought them at Restoration Hardware. The counter is black absolut granite. You can't tell from the photo but it has a "suede" finish on it that is really nice- like a honed finish but softer.

**Q: Ceiling Fan** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you share your source for that amazing weathered copper ceiling fan?

A: The fan is from Mathews (http://www.matthewsfanco.com/)  and can be purchased here:

At the time it was offered in polished copper which was lacquered. I had to special order it without the lacquer so that it would tarnish & age. I don't think they offer that finish anymore. But I see they have a bronze.

Is it a grey ? can i have the product info please

A: I wish I could help you out but the tiles were a discontinued  12 x 24  porcelain tile. I'm sure you can find something similar - this one from Daltile will give you the look:
