**★★★★★ — Robin Sauve, May 2020**

> The Jones Design Build team were great to work with. Kevin and his crew did a bonus room/bedroom and hallway addition to our home. The craftsmanship matched our home’s existing style from trim work, paint, to flooring so it looks like the room and hall were completed when our home was was originally built. Kevin was able to design and finish with the budget we set, all in a timely fashion.

**★★★★★ — Robin Davis, Oct. 2015**

> Kevin and his entire team did an amazing job remodeling our 1920's home in Sunset Hills over a multiple year period. We selected them to do a bedroom/bathroom reno, which then led into a bit more! Kevin and crew were totally open to our creative ideas and made them all come to life! After a brief intermission, we hired them once again to add onto our home with a downstairs master bedroom and bath with a loft, outside deck with shower and sauna. Oh...and a jigsaw puzzle room! They worked patiently and calmly on the project as many of the items were so custom that they took longer to put into place than is customary. They became like family to us and we valued their suggestions, opinions, and advice. I am sure that we could not have imagined the house that we know and love so now without a team that was so willing to create something spectacular!

**★★★★★ — eharrington, Oct. 2015**

> Kevin Jones and his team were fabulous to work with from start to finish. We gut-renovated the kitchen and baths in our home and added a family room off the kitchen. On the front-end, Kevin’s team provided the creative vision that is essential when you are renovating an older home, and they were able to create exactly what we needed within the existing space. The construction process was very smooth – even fun for us! – and best of all, the project was on budget and on time.

**★★★★★ — ribers, Oct. 2015**

> Kevin and his team did a fantastic job with the remodel of my kitchen and master bath in my 85+yr old home. I felt at ease during this normally very stressful time with assistance and guidance from KJDB designers as well as from the daily management of the activities by the project manager assigned to my remodel. The subcontractors that work with KJDB are great too, and just like Kevin, they are personable and easy to work with. I would use KJDB again without hesitation for any future remodel for sure!

**★★★★★ — pkbyrne74, Oct. 2015**

> Kevin Jones did a remodel of our kitchen and two bathrooms. The work progressed according to the written schedule provided. As in any remodeling job, unexpected things happen and because Kevin always has a project manager on site, these unexpected events are met and solved quickly and efficiently by the project managers. All subcontractors were excellent, as well. We were more than pleased with the remodel and would not hesitate to have Kevin do future work for us and would highly recommend Kevin Jones Design Build.

**★★★★★ — sdombrosky, Sept. 2015**

> Kevin and his team are truly amazing. We hired KJD to expand our livable space which involved removing two vaulted ceilings and working with a complicated roofline. Kevin put together a very detailed estimate and went over every cost with us personally. Once the project was under way, a project manager was present at all times - Alison and Karen are the BEST. We also had access to a designer to help us make the best choices. Everything went smoothly and timely. We weren't sure our crazy idea could become reality, but Kevin and his team exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with our new space!

**Comment from Kevin Jones Design Build:**

> Thanks so much! You guys really were a pleasure to work with!

**★★★★★ — The Cox Team with Keller Williams Realty, Aug. 2015**

**★★★★★ — Inspire By Color, Sept. 2014**

> I have never met a more remarkable group of professionals!
>
> The entire Kevin Jones Design Build (KJDB) team is phenomenal! Having worked in the male dominated construction market for 10+ years, I had never encountered female job site supervisors, until KJDB. Sadly, my first impression was a stereotypical and chauvinistic, "what do women know about building houses?" However, after experiencing how clean, organized and smoothly their projects are orchestrated, I must say, Kevin is really on to something! As a subcontractor for many builders in the area, not one comes close to the professionalism and transparency of the KJDB team. I will receive scheduled meeting notices and work appointments weeks in advance. Upon arrival, I will find what feels like the red carpet rolled out for me. Okay, it's construction paper, but even that is more than most builders will do!
>
> Because Kevin's team have done their homework, communicated clearly and coordinated expertly the job site morale is always relaxed, warm and inviting. That's such an important element, because grouchy and/or confused construction workers tend to make more mistakes and leave bigger messes.
>
> In summary, I've been around and seen a lot of what doesn't work in the construction industry. Kevin's team continually takes me to school on everything that does. Cheers to Kevin and team for setting and holding the highest standard in the Triad's professional design/build market.

**★★★★★ — Blythe Haynes from BSH Design, April 2014**

> Kevin Jones and his team have built many of my projects. His attention to detail and the plans is phenomenal. When I know that he's to be the contractor for a project, I'm assured that it will be built according to the plans and will be a project that I'll use in my portfolio. His attention to detail and the construction process is unrivaled, as he is able to finish a project quicker and of better quality than most other builders in the area. I always recommend him first if ask for recommendations from my clients. Simply put, he's one of the best contractors around.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Will the seam show on double thick countertop?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It largely depends on two things: the "pattern" of the countertop material and the skill of the fabricator in "laminating" the two slabs of material together. And quite frankly, the later may be the most important. Ask your fabricator to see samples of double-thick tops and even ask him to mock up a 12x12 sample in the material that you have selected. And good luck!
