**★★★★★ — Andy Pigott, April 2020**

> Deb is exceptional. Her vision for our basement space was absolutely fabulous. She exceeded all of our expectations, was detail oriented and helped us find our style that was uniquely our own. She has an ingrained sense of creativity and worked with us to make sure we got the design that met our families needs. We will be doing our kitchen with her in the next few months and hopefully many more projects!!!

**Comment from Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group, Inc.:**

> Andy- thank you for your post. I so enjoyed working with you on this basement! The 3 zones work well for your young family! A comfortable TV area, 2 work desks and a playroom behind barn doors allow for multi-activity all at the same time. And the storage is hidden away. I look forward to the next project-your kitchen remodel. Warm regards, DEB

**★★★★★ — Linda McCabe, Oct. 2018**

> I had never previously hired an Interior Designer. I had no idea of how to go about redoing my kitchen and felt pretty insecure about every part of this process.
>
> Of course, I knew Deb and her stellar reputation. What stood out to me immediately about having Deb work with our family was how much she cared about making us feel comfortable and how much she wanted to make us to be happy – not with her taste or her ego! I really appreciate knowing that her care for us was one of her main concerns.
>
> I loved how she patiently took us through all decisions, gladly taking her time to explain as much as she could in terms of fabrics, materials, colors, textures, etc. I loved how she helped us “see” how things would turn out, how everything would look together, while staying mindful of our budget.
>
> There was one incident that stands out for me to represent not only how experienced and smart Deb is, but how she truly gets what her clients want.
>
> The new kitchen plan did not include a pantry and we were concerned our cooking needs would not be accommodated. Our GC didn’t seem too concerned or want to make changes to our approved plan. Before we ordered the kitchen, Deb edited the plan to include 2 tall storage cabinets and was able to keep our eat-in kitchen table. Just that one act of thoughtfulness and kindness made all the difference in our loving our new kitchen.
>
> Deb goes out of her way to make her clients happy. And, she does that while still being a top designer with years of experience and great skill in her industry. She is professional and very accommodating. I highly recommend her.

**Comment from Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group, Inc.:**

> Linda-I am delighted your family not only likes your new kitchen- but that it works for the diverse meal planning. Thank you for your comments.' I love my new space-'is the ultimate goal for every client. Warm regards-Deb Reinhart ASID

**★★★★★ — Elizabeth McClure, Dec. 2017**

> Such a wonderful experience working with Deb! My husband and I needed a few important furniture pieces for our new home, we were ready to invest in good furniture that would last forever. Deb lead us in the right direction and found some really special items that we would not have been able to find ourselves. My husband was happy that we stayed in budget! :)

**★★★★★ — Susan Lavina, May 2017**

> I whole heartedly recommend Deb Reinhart and her Design Group! They are very professional and really listened to what we wanted to do with the house and the garden. Deb has helped transform our house into a warm and inviting home that is super welcoming to guests. Deb has been very cognizant of our budget and our time frames as well. I look forward to the upcoming fireplace remodel and outdoor entertaining design for the summer!

**Comment from Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group, Inc.:**

> Susan. I so enjoy working with you and Bernie! I am working on the fireplace--:-)
> Thank you for your comments. Deb

**★★★★★ — Bob Smoron, March 2017**

**Comment from Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group, Inc.:**

> It is a pleasure working with you Bob-thank you for the endorsement!

**★★★★★ — Nanette McCarthy, March 2017**

> Deb did the interior design of my home a few years back and I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I took that route. Deb really captured what I was looking for and even though it was a few years back, her hard work, dedication and expertise still shines. My investment in Deb has really paid dividends over the years in a much better functioning, flow, and aesthetic for our home. Those things have really made my home feel like my home in every sense of the word.

**★★★★★ — Linda Schmidt, Feb. 2017**

> Deb is a great listener while meeting with her clients. It is this skill that forms the basis of her successful design firm. She diligently works within all budgets and provides creative; "Oh! I never thought of that option!" ideas. It is this talent to provide a new perspective, paired with the wisdom only to be gained from 35 years of experience that separates Deb.
>
> Did I mention that she is a delight to work with; friendly, professional, energetic and passionate.
>
> I love working with Deb and love her designs even more!

**★★★★★ — Mariusz Dolegiewicz, Feb. 2017**

> Working with Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group is a delight. I'm always amazed by her authenticity and great integrity. > My company has worked with Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group, Inc. since 2001. Together we have worked on many projects, from very large to quite simple, and we consider her to be one of our top Professional Partners. The first word that comes to mind when describing Deb Reinhart is integrity. It is that very quality that has kept our business and working relationship solid. She is tenacious when it comes to budgets and timing, tirelessly keeping every aspect of every project on track. Her innate ability to read each client and understand them, who they are and what they project as a person, is simply amazing! Then, like an artist with a canvass, Deb will express their personality aesthetically throughout their surroundings in astounding and creative ways. Whether it's calm and neutral, or colorful and exciting, she always chooses just the right balance and elements to capture the essence of the clients and their environment. The consistent end result for her clientele is a resounding,"This is me, this is who I am, this is home!" To be a part of this experience, and to be involved with this type of business savvy and successful creative, is a what our company looks for in a Professional Partner. Consistent, honest, on time, on budget, brilliant to work with in a team setting. Deb let's no detail get past her, and the outcome of each project is appropriate aesthetic brilliance. Anyone working with Deb Reinhart should feel confident that they're working with the best. Deb surrounds herself with true craftsmen and upstanding vendors, and she will always do what is best for her client.

**★★★★★ — frankceo, March 2016**

> My husband and I have used Deb Reinhart Interior Design Group for many years on a variety of projects in our homes. We have been very pleased with the way she very attentively listens to our thoughts and ideas, then translates our ideas into a home that's right for us, rather than imposing her own ideas on us. She doesn't try to steer us to something that we don't want or need.
>
> She intuitively knows the color schemes that suit my internal balance, and is extremely creative by sharing her ideas in ways we can appreciate and certainly would not accomplish on our own.
>
> She is very organized and always follows through, keeping within our budget and finishing on time as promised. The very few times something had to be adjusted, she was right there with the workmen making sure it is done right. My husband and I feel we can count on Deb and her team to advocate for our projects
>
> We will definitely be hiring her to help us again!

**★★★★★ — 41 West, Dec. 2015**

> Deb understands that you want your own special place, that reflects your style and taste. It is imperative that you trust the team you have chosen to design your dream. Deb Reinhart Design is a team you can trust and we highly recommend them.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you tell me the name of the splash back tiles please, Thankyou** *(in Photo Questions)*

thankyou

A: This is an imported semi-precious marble mosaic tile. Thank you DEB

**Q: can tell me the basin maker? is it metal? can't really tell by the pic** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Daniella-apologies for missing your question! It is a high end bronze sink-Deb

**Q: Ho do I make this window look centered** *(in Home Decorating)*

I’m closing on this house next week in Southwest FL. Everything from the formal living room is going. New paint new chandelier, New curtains.
This sliding window is not centered, what should I do with it?

I love transitional style, traditional, French country.

A: There are many questions unasked and unanswered in this design dilemma.
The key question is which way does the door open and what exposure is the opening? Florida absolutely needs adequate light control.
Without context-I often offset drapery panels to center a window. Please note for best light control--\[ affordable\] remote control window treatments are available now without hard wiring--. Technology gives alot more options.
The 'New Traditional' is a term which describes eclectic design-incorporating the best of many styles-french country could pop with transitional elements.
As an interior designer--I totally endorse a holistic approach to the room. Florida light is so unique and influences interior design greatly.

**Q: They are starting to all look alike... Help me choose** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I went to my 3rd slab yard today. Tell me your thoughts.. Marble? Is that crazy? How about the colors? I have a passion for white counters. Here are some logistics. And thank you so much for any help and ideas you might have.
~boxer

White (latte) Shaker inset cabinets with hidden hinges by Cabico
5 by 7 island navy in color
No pendants
A large hood also in white only a 30 inch range but a 42 hood above
SS KA appliances with Brushed nickle hardware
Slab back splash will be whatever stone we choose
Kitchen has no windows, opens to a large family room and sun room with eating area on the side.

The navy cab is the color of the island, the white latte is the perimeter, The brown might be similar to the floor we keep changing our minds.
Granite Valley White (it has a green tinge)

Another photo of the Valley White Granite

Stataurietto Marble the photo does not do it justice. Mini flecs and waves of graphite and navy among a sea of cool white.

Shadow Storm Marble This photo is washed out. It is a soft cool white muddy with a hint of gray with a powdery feel . We would have it honed.

Shadow Storm Marble different lot number (there may not be enough slabs of this popular one)

Some past stones from an earlier visit... My daughter reminded me that I don't like a messy counter and that if I get one of these stones with movement I may find it messy.

Fusion Quartzite

Blue River Quartzite

White Python Quartzite is out my price range.

I was warned this beautiful counter is a dolmite and can be challenging to care for.

Madagascar leather (Dolmite) but they said it is a soft very soft quartzite High maintence

White Cloud Quartzite honed

There have been changes that are not shown below. The hood is 42 inches, there is a sink by the wine cooler to the right side of that bank of cabs but left of the cab above wine cooler. The island is a tiny bit bigger. NO pendants. You can't see it but there is a trey ceiling above the left side of the kitchen in breakfast area to the left of the refrig. The ceiling has can lights and there is a sun light that is in front of the right side of cabs. We are keeping it to get natural light into the room.

Kitchens that are my a few pieces for my inspiration.

I like that the cabs don't go to the ceiling. I like the space
Too ornate but I like the marble counters
I love the movement of the counters and the cabs not going to the ceiling
I like the floors

A: Less is more-. & Form follows function.
As a residential interior designer-a large part of my role is to sift the possibilities down to what works best for the individual. Too many choices almost always confuse-
Listen to your gut first. Expensive, attached, and permanent home decisions-should reflect your true core aesthetic.
1\. Marble is high maintenance and stains-that is a fact. As a backsplash it works well.
2\. Quartzite is the wonderful alternative for a marble like look without the perishability. Please note-not all quartzite is created equal. Your provider will give you the strength of the slabs
3\. The photos you shared actually show controlled movement.
and importantly-your daughters comment-sounds spot on--
good luck-

**Q: Help turn a ho-hum living room into an edgy, transitional oasis** *(in Home Decorating)*

About 9 months ago we moved. The area grew so popular it became unbearably congested but oh, how I miss that condo! Done in monochromatic off-whites, it was the essence of my taste. Sadly, my husband had his fill of "beige" and we agreed to do our new home in gray. As you'll see in the photos, we bought two charcoal gray velvet sofas (with a Greek key pattern,) a 60" distressed wood coffee table and an ivory, taupe and charcoal area rug. Other than the white fireplace and built-ins, the walls are Revere Pewter. Now I think, should the walls be white, or bone or maybe a dark taupey shade? An important side note, the room gets very little natural light. Our built-in bookcase showcases a lot of blue and white so sometimes I think about bringing in cobalt blue -- sometimes. Other times, not so much. I've played with different throw pillow colors and arrangements, but nothing speaks to me. We started to create an arrangement of architectural prints around the circular mirror - but will a gallery wall behind the sofa be overload? My latest thought is that a large, subtle abstract painting in shades of grays and browns above the sofa would be a better choice. But then, will that compete with the very large and very colorful abstract tapestry to the left? Also, a pair of Bergere chairs that looked fabulous in the loft, look sad and frumpy here. I'm so confused! I'd sure appreciate help taking this room from ho-hum to eclectic and edgy. I know what moves me: Just about any animal print fabric but especially leopard, antiques mixed with contemporary furnishings, beautiful lamps, and a well-edited room. And that's just the living room - don't even get me started on the dining room! As you can tell, I'm so overwhelmed it even makes my doggy sad.
I think the abstract painting above the fireplace doesn't work - wrong scale and too similar (same artist) as large tapestry on wall to left of sofa. Are my instincts right?
Too much on the bookcases? What else on the coffee table and, is the coffee table a mistake?
Gallery wall or architectural prints or one large abstract painting behind sofa? Throw pillows??? Wall color?

Here are some photos of rooms that make my heart sing...

A: The solution to your room-is not product driven. The solution is composition. You have a terrific space-it just need the wow factor. The rooms you like are complete with balance and scale.
To view the room holistically, here are a couple of ideas. My role as a designer-always includes the following with clients
1\. The walls need either an over scaled item \[ art\] or grouping of art items.
Tip-paper cut outs will give you an idea of sizes to resource. Use the room examples as a guide.
2\. Take a chance with color-the bookcases will pop if the walls have more bold color
Light is key--do you have enough light for bold walls? if not-medium tones will work.
3\. Bookcases-edit edit edit-! Do you need a showcase or function-? that answer should drive your direction. we all acquire-stuff! Do the items give you 'JOY'? or are they just familiar items?
4\. I totally agree with replacing the cocktail table-edgy yet functional.
if you view the room as a whole not individual product--the results will be more effective.
