A: Hello.. Thanks for the inquiry. Actually the lattice is custom made using small pieces of wood. I personally wouldn't recommend vinyl unless it is smooth (not fake wood grain), and has sharp/crisp corners, not rounded. In this case it was detailed out with exterior grade wood and painted. It does have some eclectic features, but I would say it borrows mostly from the Shingle Style tradition, which also is a subset of the Victorian period. Hope this helps..! - Kenny **Q: Who's the window manufacturer? I have been looking for black 2 over 2** *(in Photo Questions)* I can't find any affordable windows with black sashes. A: I believe we used Jeld-wen Siteline windows here. The clad "sash" is specified as black, and the "frame" is white. Then the trim is painted to match the frame. (making sash & frame different colors is always an important detail I recommend). Sierra Pacific is one of my go-to windows right now with good clad details, color options, SDL details, and relatively low price for the quality. Don't skimp on the window budget, they make or break the house.. - Kenny **Q: What is the house skirting made from?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Generally if it's non-structural (railings, etc.), I recommend smooth fiber cement trim (not textured).
