I am very disappointed. I researched workstation sinks and the reviews convinced me to buy the 46” workstation. I purchased and received the sink in early 2021 but it was not installed until 2022 because of construction delays. Here are my issues:: > 1\. the stainless steel always looks positive spotty > 2\. The grate m for the bottom of the sink just causes a back up of food particles and now without it, there are many scratches. > 3\. It’s hard to get the food to the drain, and the strainer also is water stained and not very sturdy 4. In addition, the cutting boards- other than the wooden one, are recipients of standing water.. > > At first I thought it was my faucet not having enough power but I have had that fixed. This is much more cost effective and quality made. Really like that Create Good Sinks has rounded edges instead of seams at the corners. This is what really sets this sink apart from the others and makes it much easier to keep clean. The sink drain and stop are also very well designed and easy to clean too. The accessories are great. You get a bamboo cutting board, white plastic cutting board, dish drying roll up rack, and a metal slotted tray or colander. The last piece is made of raw metal so the edges are a bit sharp. That’s the only thing I wish came differently. It doesn’t come with some of the other accessories that others do, like entertaining bowls and inserts, but I don’t feel those are really all that necessary for a functional kitchen anyway. > > The sink itself looks beautiful and is the best thing we did with our kitchen remodel. When I renovated the kitchen and selected a quartz top they had a few sinks to select from. I grabbed a deep 10" two basin sink. After one year with the old sink I knew I needed something new. The corners were at 90 degrees and hard to keep clean, the deep basins made it hard to wash pots and pans so I started looking for sinks. Luckily for me Creategoodsinks.com came up. I think the light marbling helps to incorporate them into its own texture. This is also the matte option, so perhaps with the glossy finish you wouldn't see them as much. I usually just wipe the counter off with a towel when I am done washing dishes/cleaning up and I am overall very happy with them! **Q: Sink size question** *(in Remodeling)* Hi! We are updating our kitchen and our project manager said we have space for up to a 33” inch sink. Do you think that means I can buy a sink labeled 33” (I like the Dex sink from Kraus in 33”) or does that mean the cut out is 33” and the sink itself needs to be smaller? thank you! A: The following applies to undermount sinks only…. For an easy install you need some clearance between the lip of the sink and the inside wall of the cabinet. The 33" sink would fit a standard 36" cabinet (Inside opening would be between 34.5 to 35"..... the 33" sink would fit beautifully. A: I think it is a pretty good idea.. that space is usually wasted. I think a conversation is needed with the solid surface counter-top installers to be sure the counter-top is strong enough. I love the sink** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Hi Frank, Our sinks are made differently...and they require a lot of man hours. A large stainless steel sheet is cut with a laser...like a dress pattern, then folded into shape with a press that looks like a slow motion guillotine. Then the corners are welded, grinded, sanded and a brush finish applied..... The only way we can make them affordable is to have this very tedious labor performed in Asia. The fridge will be perpendicular to the main wall by itself with a little landing area countertop so doing integrated does not seem worth it. A: @Karen Muchow Heisick There are different finishes on stainless steel that you can get, so that can affect things a bit. Our sinks are made with a \#4 brush finish which I think is always nice. Super shiny/reflective stainless steel can be a bit flashy in my opinion. Plus a brush finish hides hairline scratches well.
