I asked her to send me any documents that needed to be signed; she instructed me that nothing needed to be signed on my end and she would order the state documents required to move forward. We had a build date of February 2018. Although I was prepared to move forward, I did have some concerns about the house plan she developed it did not have a front entry and had two doors virtually right next to each other on the side of the house. I reached out to her in January to make adjustments to the plan and provided her with a plan that I thought would be a better fit. Michelle informed me that she would get back to me. However, I did not hear from her again after that. February came and went without any building taking place, so in April I decided to reach out to Michelle to see what had transpired. She attempted to brush me off based on a budget when that was not an issue, I explained to her the problem, which was my dissatisfaction with the design, I wrote this in an email which was professional and contained no personal attacks. Instead of addressing my concerns Michelle responded that she had left work that day crying because of my email, this I felt was a deflection so that her lack of follow through, dishonesty, and general lack of competence in her job would go unnoticed and instead she would be viewed as a victim. > > The next interaction I had with Dreamline was with Kris, who sent me an email that did not address any concerns, and accepted zero accountability for any of the things that transpired. I called Kris, and he began laughing at me because I stated I would proceed with legal action, he had zero interest in resolving the issues, and once again took no accountability for anything. Dreamline Homes wasted 12 months of my time and did nothing to compensate me or for that matter never even apologized. I strongly suggest that anyone looking for a builder use an other company rather than risk a year of their life being wasted. > > I have decided I am not going to pursue legal action at this time, but I would feel negligent to allow anyone else to experience the situation I did without warning. Therefore, I want to reiterate, Dreamline is not a company that anyone who values time, honesty, and accountability should do business with a different builder, and whatever response they provide to this review has no baring on the outcome that they committed to building a house in November 2017 and it is now May 2018 and I am searching for a new builder who will actually show up.
