A: These cabinets are from a custom cabinet shop near Lancaster PA called Honey Brook Custom Cabinets. The color was a custom color done on oak wood. Medallion Cabinetry has a similar color now called Gale. **Q: Want to take down a wall separating kitchen/dining area** *(in Design Dilemma)* I would like to remove a wall between my kitchen and dining area, both of which are tiny. I'd like to turn it into an open kitchen/dining space. What type of professional can tell me -in writing- that this wall is NOT a load bearing wall and can be torn down. I would like to do a lot of the demolition myself and leave the finishing work for someone else. A: A knowledgeable, experienced contractor should be able to put in a beam if it is a load bearing wall. The beam may be able to be installed in the attic space if you do not want an exposed drywall or wooden beam.
