## Community Q&A

**Q: My living room is too brown.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is from the stairs. I don't know how to make the room more appealing.

A: Sounds good.  Think about a very pale grey-blue for the family room, it will definitely give a north coastal feel to the room and the browns will go well,  the fireplace color might remain if in the same color family.  The reds of your chairs will not work if the room is grey-blue unless there is grey in them, but I didn't see any.  Wooden objects on the walls will work well too. Oars over the couch in a greyish wood, facing in oposite directions would work with that decor and not be too cutsey.
