First, the salesman I worked with guaranteed a delivery date in February. Come the delivery date, I had to reach out to the store to find out that the sofa wasn't going to come until April, and both items had to be delivered together. After 1.5 hours on the phone, I was able to speak to a manager who resolved the issue for me. The delivery date came and I got my sofa and love seat, and the sofa was damaged. A piece of wood in the back of the sofa was completely dented in. After another hour on the phone, the manager of the store was able to locate a replacement sofa for me that came today, a week after my original delivery. When the replacement sofa arrived today, it was more damaged than the first one they brought. The leather on different parts of the sofa was completely torn up. Now to be able to schedule a replacement has been very difficult and I do not appreciate the lack of resolve I've had with this order I made about a month ago. I had a $50 off online coupon, so I decided to order the $1499 item online and also scheduled the delivery online (3 days out). Having seen the reviews on here I was somewhat concerned but took a chance. A friend of mine had good experience with El Dorado, so I let it go. Well, I am glad I did! > I received 2 days before the date an email and SMS confirming the delivery, also allowing me to reschedule if needed. I confirmed and received a 3 hour time window for the delivery day. On the morning of the delivery, I checked the order status. We were \#7 on the list, and I could see the truck was currently at \#5. The team arrived on time after sending another SMS 15 minutes before arrival. The driver came to the house and asked us to check the item on the truck, as there was in his opinion a small damage. My wife and I checked and it turned out there was indeed a half inch long scratch on the underside of the top plate; once the fireplace was off the truck you would have to bend down to even see it. We decided to accept the item, no need to even touch it up. However, kudos to the team for pointing this out to us. The rest went smoothly. On the delivery date I was told the driver didn't bring the hardware. The next delivery date, they opened the package and all the shelves were broken. I cancelled the order and reordered on line. On the delivery date the driver called and informed me the "package is broken\< do you want me to bring it to you?". Every time I called I was told "we are sorry. We will try to redeliver ASAP," usually a week later. I never felt they were willing to go out of their way to make up for the mistake. Terrible service.
