We think it looks like the surface of Jupiter seen from orbit. A: I wish I could recall the name of the stone, but I'm fairly certain it was a granite. This project was built about 20 years ago. It was a lot of fun to design. The free-standing box is wrapped in a redwood slab which was harvested and milled from a tree on the site (which had to be removed for the new construction).
